About this property

Waterfront Beach House

Welcome to our Shore Rd beach house! This single family home was recently renovated in 2021 - brand new stainless steel appliances, washer & dryer, laminate hardwood flooring, tile bathroom with walk in glass shower & more.

There are 2 spacious bedrooms upstairs both with king size beds. On the main level there is an additional bedroom which has a twin day bed with trundle which makes our home comfortable for up to 6 people. We also offer a pack and play for those traveling with little ones! The upstairs loft area has a desk for those working from the beach!

Outside you will find our front deck with fire pit over looks private sandy beach and Long Island Sound.

We were right on the beach. That was wonderful. We had extraordinary weather! We never did get used to the spiral staircase, though, which was not included in the description of the cottage. It made for some perilous ups and downs.

This property was amazing! Everything that you need was available in the home! The beach view and easy access to the beach was incredible! We traveled with 2 small children and everything was absolutely perfect! The washing machine and dryer was great to have with your family! Communicating with the owner was always smooth and she got back to me within the hour! We will 100% be coming back!

My teenage sons and I had a wonderful time at this property which I have nicknamed “a slice of heaven.” We stayed only for three nights and no one wanted to leave. The house had everything we needed and every room was very cozy. There is a spiral staircase that is needed to get to two of the bedrooms but lots of lights to help you see and very sturdy. Not a problem once you got used to it, It was worth being right on the beach for the flexibility of not dealing with parking. Go outside when you wanted, come and eat when you needed. We would definitely rent this house again in a heartbeat! The owner was responsive to questions throughout the entire process.

The place is adorable & right on the beach .. unfortunately next door they were doing construction everyday so it was very noisy .. especially outside on the deck & beachWould have liked to know that they was a spiral staircase as we are older & the bedroom downstairs is fit for a child .. the deck was a whirlwind of sand and the cleaning person forgot to change the sheets in the downstairs bedroom Its worth a shot under different circumstances

Great family vacation

Great spot on the beach in a quiet, family friendly neighborhood. Very short drive to groceries and other food options. I stayed on this beach growing up, and it is much the same as it was back then. Kids had a great time!

Cute house, excellent location! Comfortable beds and plenty of ac units and fans to keep rooms cool for summer sleeping. Awning over patio area made such a nice place to enjoy the beach in shaded comfort. Thanks for a great weekend!

Great Beachfront Cottage

The cottage is a perfect cozy stay on the water - we stayed in the winter and still were able to enjoy the sand and the sunrises right outside the window. House is well-appointed and well-located within area with access to restaurants and shops in Clinton, Madison, Westbrook, Old Saybrook, etc.

Perfect!

This was a perfect location for our young family of 5. Very kid friendly, clean and beautiful home. We were in town for a funeral and local motels/hotels just didn’t have the options we needed. Our kids loved the house and our whole family hopes to return for another visit.
