Central luxury Garden Flat - Grey Lynn
Beautiful, warm double-glazed flat in Grey Lynn - 10 mins walk to Ponsonby and Kingsland, and 30 mins to Auckland City.
2 queen bedrooms and spacious lounge with large walk-in 'rainforest' Shower'. "Better than the photos" is our most common feedback. Smart TV (Netflix, Sky etc.) and kitchenette provides sink, fridge, Microwave oven, a multi-use electric cook pot, kettle and toaster and a barbq on the deck.
Off-street Car Pad and additional permitted street Parking in this safe residential area for a second car, with buses 5 mins away. A ten minute walk from the nightlife of Ponsonby and K Road and you can walk to the CBD in 25-30 mins or taxi / scooter in 10.
Entrance to the flat is through a separate entrance on the side of the house. You have privacy in the flat and a unique code to enter at any time on the key pad, checking in or during your stay.
Grey Lynn is a really great location with dozens of restaurants a short walk away; close to the city but away from the noise with few passers by. You can walk on the special bike/walking track close to the house, to the city and Museum in 30 minutes, or all the way to the water front in not much more if you enjoy walking. Or by Uber or scooter, ten minutes takes you most places.
Please note there is an additional fee of $35 per night for 3rd and 4th guests. The rate quoted applies for 1 or 2 people. Please ask if you'd like to bring a dog. We charge $60 for the additional cleaning and ask you keep him/her off the sofas and are careful to wipe all feet!
BABY PACKAGE: We can provide a Travel Cot with sheets and blankets, high chair and baby bath for $50 per stay.
NB: If you have a long-haul flight, please understand we are often fully booked and can't change the check-in time of 2 pm or check-out time of 11 am - so consider booking for the extra day so you can relax in the house after an early arrival or late departure. Alternatively, there are Spas for a Massage and plenty of bars close by :)

Paula's place was immaculate and modern with great furniture. We especially loved the balcony. It is a corner house and the views from the patio are great. We very much enjoyed our stay.
Fantastic stay! Location is wonderful, and the apartment is spacious and comfortable. The hosts were friendly and super responsive, going the extra mile to make our stay memorable. We’d stay there again in a heartbeat.
Roomy, clean and comfortable. Awesome location to Western Springs, walked there in 20 minutes. Central to shops, eateries, and the motorway. Great flat in a quiet and safe location. Lovely hosts.

The accommodations were clean and well appointed, accurately described by the VRBO pictures. Paula and Peter were very generous with their time and provided invaluable suggestions, upon our request, for places to see and things to do in NZ. My wife and I prefer a firm bed and found the garden bedroom provided a very comfortable and refreshing night sleep. The garden/patio space outside the unit was private and welcoming. In short, we highly recommend this rental accommodation.
Great stay. Host upstairs. Lovely little extras - cheese platter and some fruit in the fridge. Huge outdoor area for private use- shame it was raining!
We had a great stay. Place was very clean and tidy. Beds were extremely comfortable. Would definitely stay again. Host was very accommodating and easy to communicate with.
Rooms were very big and each had a comfy queen size bed. An updated and modern bathroom with a standing shower. Location was great being a 15 minute walk to eden park stadium. You could walk 40 minutes into the downtown area or take a bus from a couple blocks away and could be downtown in 20 minutes. Paula was a great host who had very good communication with us and a lot of great recommendations for what to do near by and restaurants to eat at. She made check in and out very easy. Also were able to set up a time with her for when we could do laundry which was very helpful for our week long stay. There’s a nice back yard area with some seating as well. Parking was available on site. We had a small Hyundai I30 which could fit, other small hatchbacks should fit as well. Any longer vehicle might have trouble fitting into the space but can be done with some maneuvering. Great place and would recommend.

Very well presented place to stay in a great location. Hosts were easy to communicate with and supplied fantastic recommendations for places to eat etc.

Tidy, clean, high-end designed flat. Enclosed courtyard for dog. Excellent location, close to Central Auckland and Grey Lynn restaurants. EV charger nearby as well (bonus!). Lots of good walks nearby. Lovely, accommodating owners. Will definitely stay again.
Exceeded my expectations & it was wonderful being able to have my small dog with me. Location was excellent & all facilities were great in the property.I would highly recommend 2Seddon Street as it is very convenient location & exceptionally well presented property . My hosts were great also .
Lovely and charming 2 bedroom apartment in nice neighborhood. Close to all freeways and near good eating precincts. Very comfortable with gracious host.

We had a wonderful stay up in Auckland. My mum and I were up for a work trip, so we were working very long days. We felt so lucky to be able to come home to such a clean, comfortable flat. Paula was so lovely she even prepared us a snack board for our arrival!

Beautiful apartment in a lovely part of Auckland. High spec with a host on hand if needed but left alone unless needed help.
Nice platter of cheese and fruit greeted us. Lovely garden.
Would absolutely recommend-one of the nicest places we’ve stayed in.
Very handy to Kingsland where we needed to be. Pleasant neighbourhood. Clean, smartly decorated flat with a nice outside area. Friendly hosts. Off street parking a bit tricky for larger vehicles.
Overall, we've had a great experience at Peter & Paula's lovely guest flat. It's clean, modern, warm, comfortable and the location is definitely a bonus. We had a nice welcome cheese platter and breakfast fruits on arrival. The environment was pleasant and welcoming. Thank you to Peter & Paula for their hospitality and friendliness and for accommodating us for an extended period. We would not hesitate to recommend this lovely guest flat.

Cherish and Aden were delightful, courteous guests who kept the flat clean and aired and would be very welcome again.
Bright, spacious flat convenient to Auckland sights-zoo, museum and downtown. This was well appointed with comfortable beds. Easy access to walking tracts, walk to multiple tasty restaurants and superettes. The hosts were welcoming and left a delicious platter of fruit and cheese. The hosts were responsive and available as a resource or privacy.
Negotiating luggage in and out of flat was a bit of a challenge going up/down steps but hosts assisted with that.
Would highly recommend and would stay again.
We loved staying at this property. It was superbly comfortable, spacious, modern and well equipped.
Paula and Peter the hosts were friendly and responsive and available for any enquiries. There were nibbles on arrival. The local heritage area was attractive and the local walks interesting.
We travelled with our small dog and appreciated the fully fenced adjacent garden area where she could wander safely.
We will be back :)

You will be quiet and warm here! A newly renovated, centrally heated and double glazed 100 year old villa with all modern conveniences but with the style of the last century. Wonderfully located to all of central Auckland and if you like to walk - you can walk to the city art gallery or Domain park and Museum in half an hour or to the harbour in not much longer knowing you can afford to scooter or get a cheap Uber for the uphill return journey home! Wonderfully comfortable 5 star hotel beds and cotton linen and a powerful shower await you! We also provide a welcome snack upon arrival and a fruit platter for your first breakfast.

Location, location, location! Quietly located with your own car pad, you can walk to countless restaurants, bars and cafes. The train at Kingsland in 10-15 mins walk and Eden Park and Western Springs around 15-20 mins. Westmere and St. Lukes not much further. The airport is just 20-30 minutes drive out of commuter rush hour.
