It’s a quaint little place. The wildlife was beautiful. There was a bag of dirty laundry on the porch, which made me question the cleanliness of the unit. A lingering odor/musty smell messed with my allergies really bad.
Wonderful place to stay that is 15 minutes to anywhere, every which way! I found the space charming and enough, as someone who came alone with a dog. The fenced yard was a plus, but getting to throw ball in the grassy hillside by the creek was even better for my boy. The coffee maker broke and Michelle sent one by Walmart order immediately! The bedroom had enough space for a 3'4' create which was wonderful. I forgot my dog door bell on the kitchen door so there's a bonus! There is no gate or bedroom door, but that is an easy improvement or item to bring along if you need it! My dog wanted to go up stairs or leave the bedroom at night, I simply forgot to bring one.Definitely plan to visit again!
The house had everything we needed and we really enjoyed our stay. The only thing that would have made it better was less road noise, but it wasn't too bad. We got visits from geese (with babies!), ducks, oodles of birds, and a few squirrels. Very cozy house and we're hoping to visit again in the winter months.
Cozy and eclectic, dog friendly, historic cottage on a secluded piece of property despite the easy access to the main road right next to it. Perfect for a little getaway or for exploring all the historic places in the surrounding area. Close to major stores etc so you’ll never go without if you forget something, but far enough to be in peace.
Wonderfully quaint!!! My wife, the puppers and I really enjoyed our stay, utilizeing the house for our home base for antiquing!! All the feels of home!!!
Beautiful cabin and outdoor area. Super dog friendly with fenced yards, and they provide dog bowls, clean-up bags, and a leash, just in case you forget something. Hope to stay again!
Host was great; very responsive. Location ideal for visiting with my local friend. Everything I never thought I’d need was provided! It was March, so had some weather, but stayed nice and warm inside. Cozy little house, clean and tidy. Hope to come back soon!
