We had an amazing time at this property. Scott, the host, was very attentive and made communication very seamless. Everything was well thought of which made our stay very comfortable. My family enjoyed so much that we are already planning on coming back!

Gorgeous Truckee Home!

We had the best family vacation at this beautiful, luxurious, mountain home. The house was modern, comfortable, and catered to our every need. It’s perfect for families and the backyard has a perfect sledding hill for young children. Five stars!!

Wonderful Property

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful property. The home was clean, beds and pillows were very comfortable and the host, Scott was on top of it. Three families went and we had more room than we knew what to do with. The kitchen was fully stocked with pretty much everything you could need. The Checking in and out process was easy. We will definitely be staying here again!

Great home for family fun and making memories

We enjoyed our stay in this well equipped house. There was a fun game table for the kids inside and a wonderful sledding hill the grandkids enjoyed making and sledding down in the backyard. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you need. The host was very gracious and helpful when we had questions and replied promptly. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful and Well-Kept Home

This was probably the best-stocked and most comfortable vacation rental I've ever stayed in. The kitchen had everything we needed and more (I'm talking waffle iron, Kitchen Aid stand mixer, two different hand mixers and an immersion blender, actually good kitchen knives). The host provided a convenient guide to everything in the house and the surrounding area. We loved our stay here and would gladly come back!

Amazing stay in beautiful newly renovated home

Our party of 10 including 5 kids absolutely LOVED staying at this home. I’ve stayed in many VRBOs but this house is probably the best stocked and well thought out property. Kitchen was well equipped with every imaginable tool and appliance. Plenty of towels and linens. Super comfortable beds. Everything was labeled and in its place. And on top of it all, the owner was super responsive and easy to work with. We would definitely stay there again. Thank you!

Joyous Week at Tahoe Donner

Scott Schuhwerk was a gracious host to our family, from the initial logistics to house closing. The house and tiered decks are beautifully furnished, while the kitchen exceeded our expectations. It was very well equipped to handle any meal we planned. A favorite among the kids was the hot tub and the pony ride, but we all loved experiencing the plethora of activities at Tahoe and Donner Lake. We'd love to return again. Thank you, Scott! Absolutely fantastic place!

Perfect for our family vacation. Property manager was incredibly helpful and responsive. Home was exactly as described-no issues at all. We had five kids aged 5 months to 13 years old happily stay in the home with six adults. The two distinct master bedrooms were great for having separation. Infant happily stayed in the walk-in closet! Kitchen was very well stocked and organizedz. New hot tub was awesome. Easy drive to playgrounds, hiking trails, downtown etc. We will be back!

Truckee Treasure!

My family of 5 adults and 3 teens thoroughly enjoyed our late June, five night stay at this wonderful home! This was one of the best equipped homes of the many VRBOs we’ve stayed in. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare all of our meals at home. We were stocked on spices, dishes, pots, and pans to cook with and all of the amenities. Bedrooms were beautifully furnished, and everyone slept well in all of the rooms. There were fans available as some of the nights were a little warmer, and on the cooler nights, extra blankets and pillows for all. The kids and adults thoroughly enjoyed the new gaming table & hot tub. Meals on the deck were a wonderful way to soak in the beautiful scenery of Truckee. Finally, Scott was especially accommodating. He was quick to get back to us, answered all of our questions, and made our stay a pleasant experience. Thank you, Scott! We would love to come back to this wonderful home!!

Great Stay in Tahoe Donner

We loved our time at this property. We had 2 families together and there was plenty of space for all of us. The kitchen was well appointed and the great room was spacious. We loved spending time on the couch telling stories and watching the olympics in the evening. There was plenty of room on the expansive couch and we all felt very at home there. We plan to visit again.
