Excellent house

This was our first time staying on the mountain. The house was perfect for our large family. The location was close to skiing and still quiet. House was clean and well stocked.

Beautiful house with spectacular views

Carsten Maison is perfectly situated for easy access to skiing and spectacular views of the mountains all around. The house is very comfortable and well appointed. The central gathering space, with sitting area, fireplace and kitchen make for lots of east and fun time for the whole family.

Property was beautiful and great for us and. our two son's and their wives. We brought my elderly father and there were a lot of stairs. No bedrooms are on the ground level, all are accessed by stairs either up, or down. Kitchen was very well stocked and had everything we needed. There was ample seating inside and out. The view was magnificent! Communication was lacking. Messages posted through VRBO were not answered at all. We did have a power outage while visiting and the emergency number worked well and got the issue resolved. Carpet was stained in several areas, but we brought our dogs, so that didn't bother us too much.Highly recommend if you are gathering couples together for a vacation, without elderly people or walking babies that can't climb stairs on their own yet.

Perfect for family vacation

Maison Carstens in Mt Crested Butte was a great location for our family of 8 vacation. The Gold Link neighborhood was quiet and away from the crowds. But we could get to town and all the hiking trails in under 10 minutes. The kitchen was perfect for making meals. Plenty of room for us to eat inside or out on the back deck. Everyone had their own sleeping and bath area, which was perfect.Any questions that we had were answered by the host and addressed immediately.Thank You Carsten Family for sharing your home with us.

Family Trip

Overall the home is amazing! Great location, views and the home is well stocked! Upon arrival there were several dead bees and flys on the master room carpet, tub and bathroom along with bees in the great room. We ate almost all meals at home so to find the oven not working properly was a disappointment. I texted the property management about the oven and they did respond right away which was great. Could not secure the home because the master and all patio doors outside could not lock. Upgrade of towels would be nice. They were old and stained. With the price we paid would have been nice to not have old towels.

Wonderful Home

Our extended family thoroughly enjoyed this lovely large home. The location, wonderful fireplace, comfortable furnishings and well equipped kitchen made us feel at home. Would definitely stay again!
