Property has nice lawn area for relaxing, a fire pit, and a dock to tie up a boat. We went fishing plus water skiing and tubing. Great time at a great location.
Beautiful lake view and lawn on the lake. Big dock and small walk in area for swimming, with steps down to the water. quiet lake. This cabin gives off grandma’s lake cabin vibes. Screened in porch for listening to the loons. Kayaks onsite!
The property was well cared for, clean, and exactly what we expected. There were little extras, such as kcups, a basket of little incidentals, brochures for places to visit. There were many water toys and life vests. The beds were very comfortable, and lots of storage space. The views of the lake were beautiful.

Thanks so much for your kind review. We enjoyed having you stay with us. I hope you come visit us again in the future!
We had a great time and enjoyed the house very much. The host answered all my questions and was available. Anytime I needed anything. It was an excellent vacation. Highly recommended.
This place is a beautiful slice of peace and tranquility. The house is perfect and accommodating for either a small group or larger one. Scott had a nice supply of little necessities if you did not bring something yourself. The house sits right on the lake. Gorgeous !!There’s kayaks and life vests to use. We saw and heard loons ever day as well into the evening. We saw bald eagles, hummingbirds, kingfishers, cormorants and mergansers ! We had great views to sunrises, sunsets and the the Milky Way ! We rode our bikes on the roads around the area and caught an eagle just hanging out in the tree tops. We rented a boat and they delivered to the boat launch which was a quick drive back to the house is the lake. We did Acadia NP, gorgeous and realized 1 day was not enough. The drive to gas/groceries is not far at all.
We have stayed here twice and loved it both times and look forward to future stays. Kids had a great time and the private dock is great for fishing and if you decide to rent a boat.
This was our 2nd visit to Dunn Inn! It now feels like our home away from home!

It was a pleasure hosting your family again. Our goal is to create a welcoming spot for families to enjoy as much as we do when we stay there. Thanks for visiting once again and we look forward to seeing you next summer!
We had a great first visit to Maine! My daughter moved here last November and we were all excited to see her again! The Dunn Inn was perfect for our family, can’t wait to go back!!
Beautiful location with very comfortable and clean accommodations. Good communication from owner and stay went smoothly.
Plenty of space for 4 adults and a puppy.
Close to Maine coastline and Acadia.
Incredible view of Northern Lights during our stay
My boyfriend and I stayed there with our small dog for a week. It was very peaceful, clean and very, very relaxing. Local restaurants and a supermarket are fairly close by. Definitely recommend staying there. I would also recommend Jones lobster and the Lucerne Inn for meals.
This location on green lake is pristine and beautiful, much quieter than Ellsworth and very comfortable. The water was clear and warm even in September, great for swimming.
The Dunn Inn was just what my family needed! The dock, the views, the location and quaintness and everything in between was perfect! We spent every evening on the dock and enjoying kayaking. If you have a family who enjoy being outside and away from the rest of the world, this is the place for you!

Thanks, Lauren! It was a pleasure hosting your family. Please visit us again in the future.
We had such a good time swimming, kayaking and relaxing in this beautiful spot. My wife and I felt like kids again and we got to enjoy some genuine quality time with our kids making memories on the lake. We are so happy with our decision to stay at the Dunn Inn.
What an incredible vacation on beautiful Green Lake. We boated, kayaked, swam, and thoroughly enjoyed this wonderful lake home, which is very comfortable and well stocked. On our last day we sat on the lawn having lunch and watched a Bald Eagle soar over the lake. Close to Bar Harbor to enjoy all of Acadia, yet further enough removed. Went to Ellsworth for breakfast at Riverside Cafe,Lunch another day at Union River Lobster Pot. Ice cream at Blue Hill Dairy. We can’t wait to come back next summer!
An amazing location, warm, inviting, and family friendly. We had a wonderful time, got to go kayaking saw my first loons with their babies, a bald eagle, and just loved the area in general. The lake is amazing, nice sandy bottom, no lake smell, stunning sunsets, and stars like I haven't seen since I was a child, bringing my telescope next time. The proximity to Acadia and Bar Harbor is fabulous, my only real complaint is one week is not enough to see all the amazing things.

It was a pleasure hosting Helen and her family. We’re glad you enjoyed your visit and look forward to hosting them again!
We had a great time at the Dunn Inn. The house was great with lots of room for all 8 of us and our dog. We loved kayaking and swimming in the lake. The water is so clean and refreshing. We loved hearing the loons and sitting out by the fire pit. We took day trips to Acadia and Bar Harbor, which are pretty close. Thank you, Scott, for sharing your house, we had a wonderful time!
We had a lovely Fourth of July week in the lake house. Scott was very responsive and we felt very welcome. The lake is wonderful for swimming and kayaking. The only thing that could’ve been better was if there was a dining area where we all could’ve eaten together. But all in all I would highly recommend for a lake vacation.
This property is all it is advertised. Beautiful lake, great spot and many amenities. The kitchen is very well equipped.
We had great weather, there was almost always a breeze each day and the lawn area is fabulous.
The layout of the house works well for a group, the enclosed porch and deck were perfect for our needs.
I would go back anytime!
Communication with Scott was easy and timely.
We had a great time at Scott's Cabin. Plenty of space for the kids to spread out and have their own sleeping areas. My son loved the loft! The grassy area out front was great and we used it for a large family get together with lobsters and such. We rented a boat and it was easy to dock and took it fishing as well. The kids enjoyed the float and kayaks that were available. My wife enjoyed the bedroom with the AC. We plan to return next summer!
Beautiful lakeside property with exceptional amenities!
Everything about this property is above and beyond expectations. Location is just 5 mins from the Bangor Rd. There are 2 houses to rent if you like. We rented the larger house with all of the comforts of home. Very spacious outside space & parking, three bedrooms with plenty of bedding, lots of comfortable seating, incredibly equipped kitchen, great deck and water front, kayaks ++, loons too. Close to Bangor & Bar Harbor for day trips. Scott was great to communicate with. Very special
We had a wonderful stay at the Dunn Inn. We spent days on the docks enjoying the sun and swimming. The docks and swim platforms as well as inner tubes and noodles gave lots of options for kids to play. We especially liked the shallow water entry which was perfect for smaller children. My favorite party was the multiple places for hanging outdoors, whether on the lawn overlooking the water or up on the deck which provided shade for most of the day. The owners do an excellent job of making renters feel at home. Cozy, soft beach towels to toiletries should you forget any of the basics, it was lovely. Kitchen is super functional and open to one of the living rooms, allowing the cook to be social. We mostly bbq’d on the front deck which is also close to the kitchen and very convenient to have. We loved our stay and hope to be back at some point :)
