The owl’s nest was so perfect for our weekend getaway!! The location is great and close to lots of places to eat as well as a grocery store. It has all the amenities we needed for after our long days at Yosemite. Definitely would stay again! :)

A perfect place to jump off your Yosemite explorations. This property has all you need for a comfortable base station minus the extravagant prices at the properties in or adjacent Yosemite. Very quiet, comfortable bed and great shower. Did not use the hot tube, but had we stayed longer, we would have soaked our sore muscles!! Oakhurst CA is about 5 miles from the property with all the services one might need. Insider tip: fill your tank up at Vons - 24 hr pay at the pump and the best prices around. Highly recommend this property - we intend on being repeat guests when we return to Yosemite. Thanks for a great stay !!!!!

Perfect location for quiet mountain nights! Close to Oakhurst, and 20 min from Mariposa. Hot tub was amazing, and the room is actually bigger than it looked in the listing.

Hidden gem close to Yosemite

Amazing and quiet stay 35 minutes away from the south entrance of Yosemite and Sierra National Park. Loved the hot tub after a long day of hiking and sight seeing. Perfect.

Lovely Little Place!

The Owl Nest was the perfect place to stay for our overnight trip to Yosemite! The check-in process was easy and the owners responded quickly to a question I had about the A/C system. The property was very clean and quiet in the evenings. The owners also provided very clear instructions on how to get to the property which helped a lot. Overall a great stay!

We spent a birthday celebration weekend at The Owls Nest and it was exactly what we needed for a relaxing and memorable getaway. The space was cozy, thoughtfully put together, and had that perfect balance of comfort and cabin charm that made it feel like a true escape.We loved how peaceful the setting was. It made it easy to unwind, enjoy slow mornings, and just be present with each other. Everything was clean, well maintained, and welcoming from the moment we arrived.One of the highlights of the trip was using it as our home base for a hike up to Nevada Falls in Yosemite. The adventure up the Mist Trail was incredible, and coming back to a warm, comfortable place afterward made the experience even better. It was the perfect mix of adventure during the day and relaxation at night.Overall, The Owls Nest was the ideal spot for a special birthday weekend. We would absolutely stay again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful stay with easy access to Yosemite’s unforgettable hikes.

Had a great anniversary trip!

Very nice

Clean and neat. Just up the road from Oakhurst (10 minutes) - nice town for shopping & restaurants. My initial impression was that it was a long way (1hr 45 min) from Yosemite Valley, until I figured out that everything outside the Park was a long way from Yosemite Valley! I would stay there again.
