Bahamas Beach Cottages - Quiet, Relaxing Area, Dog Friendly

This 3 bedroom, 2 full bath cottage is located just steps away from the Assawoman Canal in Bethany Beach. There are three parking spots available for all guests. New deck overlooking a community pond is the perfect way to end your evening at the beach. The Bahamas Beach Cottages community is a quiet community that is perfect for families that want to be near the beach but also want to enjoy a peaceful area to stay.

The house offers three spacious bedrooms (K, K & S, Q & S) with two full baths. There is a pullout sofa bed in the living room that can expand the number of guests to 10. There are also two cots located upstairs in bedroom closets that are available if needed. The downstairs has a combined kitchen/living area where you can relax while at the beach. There is a newly completed deck that overlooks the community pond and has a view of a fountain that is the perfect way to end your day. LVP flooring installed throughout the entire house.

The house has heat and A/C and is equipped with a washer/dryer, dishwasher, microwave, stovetop/oven, refrigerator, air fryer, regular coffee maker, keurig coffee maker, and toaster. The house has internet and WiFi availalble. There are three TV’s, one with Roku/Cable access the other two with Roku access.

We provide trash bags, dish detergent, dishwasher detergent, cleaning supplies, saran wrap, aluminum foil, storage bags, coffee filters, and starter paper towels and toilet paper. No need to take up space in your vehicle for those items!

Three parking spots are located next to the house and there is room for additional parking in the community shared area at the front of the property. Guests have the ability to access the Assawoman Canal in two locations near the property entrance for kayaking and paddle boarding. There is a trail alongside the canal for an enjoyable walk. A private outside shower is available for guest use. The deck sits facing the community pond with fountain and is shaded from the sun starting mid-afternoon. A ground level patio was added in April, 2026. Bahamas Beach Cottages is located within a mile of the beach, but provides quiet nights away from beach traffic for those that want to enjoy a peaceful evening.

Beautifully furnished and clean. Heath was responsive to all communication. We needed to bring our dog and it’s not easy to find pet friendly places in Bethany! This place was excellent!

We had a great week. The house was very comfortable and clean. As other visitors commented, the owner is very responsive and communication throughout the whole time from rental to the end of the trip was excellent. The neighborhood is a quiet oasis. The owner also had the house well stocked with lots of little necessities that made the week comfortable and relaxing. Everything was very well thought out for visitors comfort. Our dogs also enjoyed the very friendly dog neighborhood. We hope to be back next year!

We were just delighted by all the thoughtful details the host provided for a great stay in Bethany Beach. Bikes, kitchen staples like salt, pepper, foil, plastic bags, coffee filters, dish washing products etc. The house was clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend this beautiful house . As soon as we walked in, I felt right at home. The neighborhood was so nice to walk with our dogs. The owner had everything we needed. It was well planned out. Heath, the owner was right on it, when we had questions. I would love to stay here with my family again. The only thing that was hard were the beaches. We had to drive and it was hard to find parking, which you had to pay for. Otherwise, It was a wonderful trip!

Absolutely beautiful place! Clean, easy process, hospitable owners. With a family of 7 and 2 dogs, it is hard to find places, but this was truly a gem. We had a wonderful time.

Family Beach Reunion

The house had everything we could think of that was needed for a relaxing comfortable beach vacation!!! Linens were clean and wonderful to have beds and towels all set on arrival. We had dogs with us the fenced in porch was absolutely great the dogs loved it!!! Perfect beach vacation!!!

Excellent! Once again we had a wonderful time staying here! The cottage is exceptionally clean, comfortable (new LR sofa/chairs, and beds) and convenient to downtown Bethany! Beautiful Bahamas Cottage

Heath is a great host, very attentive and he stocked the house with everything we could possibly need! The cottage is beautiful and in such a cute neighborhood. The bedrooms are bigger than I expected and there’s a really nice deck. Highly recommend for your next family vacation.

So Relaxing and Quiet!

We absolutely loved our stay it was the perfect space and location for our family. We really appreciated the quiet neighborhood and wonderful location. The house was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay and the washer and dryer was very helpful. We were able to use the beach chairs,umbrella and cart which was very helpful for the beach. The homeowner was very responsive and answered any and all questions. We would def stay here again!

Wonderful family getaway

This was a beautiful clean and comfortable home with plenty of amenities. Fully stocked with everything needed in the kitchen as well as bedding and towels. We were a large group and chose to dine in a few nights and the stocked home made it easy. Close drive to the boardwalk and beaches for our young adults with an additional bonus that we were able to have our pup join us on vacation. Thank you for sharing your home we hope to be back again.

Fabulous property

We were so happy with this property! It was clean, very roomy (huge bedrooms) and well equipped. The deck is comfortable and cool - no afternoon sun to deal with, the kitchen well stocked and easy parking/overflow parking. We will definitely rent here again! Awesome Beach Week

The property was exactly as advertised, it was by far the best stocked property we have ever stayed in. The home was very clean and nicely decorated. It is a very nice layout and was perfect for our needs. The property owners communicated often and responded immediately with any questions and/ or needs. I would highly recommend this property to both couples or families as it easily accommodated three small families (7 people total).

A Slice of Heaven

I can't begin to explain how much we loved this house. The owners communication was second to none! From the minute we put down the deposit to the minute we checked out. The house was very clean, amenities were boundless! Looking forward to next summer.

Another wonderful week

My family returned to Bethany again this year at the same cottage. It was wonderful. Very clean and all needs for vacation were met. We had a great surprise all the floors are redone with a pergo or laminate. Since we had our German Shepard with us that made a world of difference. So easy to kr
