Other Things to Note:
What to bring with you!- You're coming to a wilderness area to vacation and if you plan your vacation well you will have a positive experience. In the summertime May and through the middle of June can tend to be cooler early morning and toward the evening hours. Make sure to bring a jacket and long pants you can change into when needed. Bring a pair of tie up shoes to protect your feet. Shoes likes flip flops or sandals will not protect your feet when you are out exploring. Layering your clothing is a good idea and then if your too warm you can take off clothing as needed. At least this way when departing your cabin early morning to go site seeing you will have what you need with you. July and August are pretty warm and you should still bring a light jacket. The rest of the year you will want to bring heavier jackets and long underwear, snow suits etc. You will need to bring your private toiletries like bar soap and shampoo as we do not provide this for you. Cabins are equipped with everything else you should need except food of course. Snow tires and four-wheel-drive are recommended for traveling in Eastern Idaho during the winter. Road conditions can change quickly, and even well-traveled highways are occasionally closed by blizzards or high winds. Before setting out, check the Transportation Department's website or call 511 for an automated, up-to-the-minute status of all thoroughfares. Wise motorists will also carry emergency gear (shovel, snack bars, water, blankets) in their vehicles to be ready for any contingency. Coming Snowmobiling? A reminder to anyone traveling back country areas whether skiing, snowmobiling or hiking: Remember the time of year, exercising all back country cautions. Take necessary equipment and survival gear when venturing into the back country. If you have a GPS and cell phone, be sure to take them with you, but do not rely on them entirely for a safe rescue if you find yourself in trouble or stranded. Cell phones should be kept close to your body & turned off to keep the battery full, so it's not searching for a signal & running the battery down. Avalanche Transceivers and equipment, knowing what the avalanche conditions are, and knowing skills to save lives are a must for everyone entering back country riding or traveling. Plan ahead. Make sure you know the area you are going into before heading into it. If you find yourself in trouble, stop, take a look around you, and do not go any further. The further you go the more complicated and dangerous it is to get yourself to safety, also making rescue efforts more difficult and dangerous. Make mental notes in relation to any physical features or landmarks that would assist in your rescue. Make a plan, stick to your plan, narrow the riding area, & most of all...let someone know WHERE you are planning to go!

We have stayed here several times so far. We really enjoyed this property. It’s close to eye shops and restaurants and it is a nice dog friendly property.
This cabin is in the heart of Island Park - a great location. It is very clean with many amenities, comfortable beds, and great kitchen. I highly recommend.
This cabin is wonderful and clean! We had a great time!

The property was exactly as advertised. A great place to stay. Yellowstone entrance is close enough to make the visit there easy. There are a few restaurants and a grocery store nearby, with the Last Chance Texaco convince store and gas station within a short drive or walk. One of the best rentals we have had through VRBO.

Great stay in Last Chance where we enjoyed all the surrounding sites including Yellowstone, Mesa Falls and kayaking on Henry's Fork. Two Moons was a great cabin, nicely appointed with a great deck.
This cabin has plenty of room and in a quiet location! It was very comfortable - we loved eating breakfast out on the deck! Our family visited Yellowstone and it was a great jump off place near the river - we saw lots of fly fishing happening! You definitely won’t regret staying here!

The cabin was just as described. Clean, comfortable and close to Yellowstone. The beds were comfy and the neighborhood quiet. Our only complaint would be the loudness of the ac/heater unit. It was a nice anniversary weekend and a first trip to Yellowstone for our kids.

The cabin was so very nice. We walked in and were amazed at the condition and care in cleanliness and organization.
Everything we needed. The only issue was there was no cell or internet service to help plan our excursions.

Thank you for leaving a kind review. We're glad to hear that you enjoyed the property. We wish we would have known that the internet wasn't working for your stay. Had we known, we could have helped get that going again. Thank you for staying with us! - IP Reservations
Beautiful place unfortunately neighborhood roads are not well kept. Small glitch, need advance instructions for locking door and that it is different door key code works on.
Stayed here as it was a great location for access to hiking and Yellowstone. We don’t fly fish but this is an excellent location for that and did enjoy crossing the street (actual highway but easy to walk across) and watch the people fly fishing. Overall, a good location but the cabin area had a lot of construction going on. It was not noisy from the construction but dusty and a bit hard to walk the dogs. So that is why I gave the neighborhood 4 stars. This did not ruin the stay and the cabin is very charming.
We really enjoyed our two-week stay in Two Moons. The location was perfect for fishing, the cabin had everything we needed and was in excellent condition, the firm beds were very comfortable, the windows and natural light were awesome, loved the sunset views from the deck, enjoyed the thoughtful decor and interactions with both the home owner and the property management company were a great experience. Since the set up has the two bedrooms separated by the kitchen, dining and living areas, it was perfect for two adult couples. Additionally, internet connection was very reliable while we were there, enabling us to work remotely, when needed. One of the best VRBOs we've rented and would definitely stay again!

The home itself was lovely, spacious and comfortable. It was spotlessly clean and well appointed. The surrounding area was almost completely commercial and unkempt with deeply rutted dirt approach. The house was situated next to a similar driveway which was not particularly quiet when in use by adjoining residence. It was a shame because the house itself was truly lovely.
