Good location about 2 blocks from the beginning on the beach. It would be a bit of a walk through the dune grass if you have kids and beach things to carry but still a great location. Just something to be aware of. The backyard was great with a shared hottub and some space for yoga mats to stretch out in the morning.

Fantastic vacation. Five minute walk to beach. Fenced in yard for dogs. Everything in kitchen labelled. Handy outdoor hot water shower by hot tub and foot washing station in front for cleaning off after beach. Plenty of towels and comfortable sitting in living room and dining table.

This was a perfect location for our family of 3. The location had easy access to a good part of the beach (you have to go through a dune area, but far less people and not as trashed as the main beach area. The house was very well stocked, better than most houses I have stayed at (extra packaged tooth brushes, toothpaste, band aids, fire starters for the outside, trash bags, paper products, and linens.) The only downside was that it was the lower unit and the guests that stayed above us has children running around until 10pm (quiet hours).

Wonderful stay! The home was very well stocked and everything was conveniently labeled. I absolutely loved the extra details and thoughtful touches (like extra toothbrushes and trial toothpaste)... Especially since I forgot mine! Beds were very comfortable. No noise (quiet street). Walking distance to the ocean at the end of the street. Lots of extra towels, blankets, and pillows. All the creature comforts of home! Our only recommendation would be to make the listing more clear that the hot tub is shared and the property is a duplex. It is stated at the VERY bottom, but we had no idea. It worked fine for us, thankfully. But other renters may not feel the same. Overall great stay!

Pretty seamless process, easy check in. Had my 2 small dogs stay with us and the yard was nice. Not the most clean but we were only there for 3 nights so it wasn’t bad.

The house was clean and fenced in yard was nice. The trip was fine until the final night when the upstairs was booked. They were partying until early morning and it’s loud. Not sure I’d book again unless we were booking the entire house.

Glad you liked our place and enjoyed your stay. Every great once in awhile we have a guest who is not aware of how noisy they are. We ask our guests to let us know if that occurs and we are more than happy to remind guests that when staying at a duplex (two units total) you need to be mindful of others and keep noise to a minimum. Most of our guests are so polite and careful about that.

Check in was very easy, had coffee and some other kitchen necessities, hot tub was nice, you can hear the guests upstairs but not too bad, part that sucked was lots of ants on the counters even when we put all the food away

Eric and Joan own the home and manage it together. We both teach college courses and have 3 grown sons, daughter-in-laws, and several grandchildren. We live in the Portland area and look forward to the day when we can retire to Seaside. We are in Seaside weekly.

Why they chose this property

We bought this home for the beautiful and serene neighborhood close to the beach and downtown, so we would have a great place to stay in Seaside. We completely remodeled it and then decided we should share it with others. We enjoy staying here ourselves frequently.

What makes this property unique

We love parking the car and walking to great restaurants and shops, all along the prom where we can view the beach. We also leave a pair of bikes there and enjoy riding around Seaside. Adding the hot tub and fire pit and renovating the back yard have added a lot to the properties appeal.
