I was notified of the intermediate service at 9:29 PM. I responded within two minutes of the message. I immediately called spectrum and had them run diagnostics and was told everything was within range. I had a technician out the next day. They replaced the modem and router. Everything works great.
The home was exceptionally clean and well appointed. Charlie was very easy to communicate with. Centrally located to the wineries on Leelanau Peninsula.
Outstanding trail side home near TVC and Suttons Bay
One of the best stays we’ve had. Beautiful and thoughtfully outfitted home with all the amenities of a high-end hotel. Fantastic location and setting. Close to all the area attractions. Cannot go wrong staying here, and Charlie is a gracious and super responsive host.
Very impressed with the cleanliness and quality of workmanship in home. Very convenient to bike trail, Suttons Bay and several wineries. It was a great home base for our Leelanau and Old Mission adventures. Plan on visiting again.
This little home is absolutely adorable! If I could have bought it from the property manager I would have. The communication was very quick and efficient and the owners ensure your stay is nothing short or wonderful. We will be staying again in the future!
Would 100% recommend. We will definitely return. Super clean home. Gel comfortable. Quick responses from the owner. If we were to critique one thing, master bedroom has a queen bed. Would prefer a king.
We enjoyed everything about staying at the house. I'll point out some highlights below.
The house seems to be recently remodeled and was well done.
Very clean
There are so many amenities and little touches around the house that make staying here great.
Quiet location but very close to wineries and restaurants around the peninsula.
This house is beautifully located in the farmland outside Suttons Bay, right off the bike trail and convenient to Lake Michigan, restaurants, and the grocery store. The house itself is clean and attractive and had everything we needed for our family stay, including coffee, bottled water, a bottle of wine and some snacks. We loved the fire pit and s'mores-making supplies! The bedrooms and bathrooms were nicely designed and laid out and there were lots of common areas for hanging out. We would definitely stay here again!
Lovely and clean house! Enjoyed cooking a couple dinners on the grill! Near to golf, boat launch and wineries. Easy to drive to many near-by cities/towns. Enjoyed the near-by trail for daily walks. We had a couple fires in the evenings. Fun time for all of us! 😄😄
This Place is right in so many ways!

This was great for our family reunion in Sutton’s Bay. You can literally access the TART trail right off the back yard! Charlie was very responsive when we had some minor issues. Snacks and coffee were a nice touch. Thanks for a lovely stay!
The home is immaculate, comfortable, and private. The owner was helpful and accommodating. We use VRBO very often, and this was one of my better experiences. My wife was delighted with the kitchen and found it very well equipped. Plenty of yard space if you have children, and the backyard connects directly to a bike path. I was also pleasantly surprised to find a ping pong and foosball table in the garage. My only request is that the owner adds a fire pit somewhere on the property. Overall this place is an A+

We are so happy you and your family enjoyed your time here at the cottage. Thank you for being such great guests. We added a fire pit and welcome you back to enjoy the cottage and Leelanau County!
Our family (husband, wife and 2 small kids) very much enjoyed this house. It was perfect for what we were looking for, as it provided a clean, newly remodeled, impeccably furnished home for our family to stay in. Everything was new and the owners did a great job on the furnishings. The game room was a nice touch in the garage and the outdoor patio was perfect for our evening meals (no bugs surprisingly!) The only thing we wish was included was a fire pit for evening bon fires and s’mores. As far as location, being right next to the trail is awesome and its easy to get to either downtown Sutton’s Bay or further west activities like Lake Leelanau, Leland, etc. I’m sure wine lovers, I.e. visitors without small children will absolutely love the location as there’s probably 30 wineries within a very short drive. Speaking of small children, the only downside is the house is on a pretty busy highway, although it is set back some with a yard separating it so it’s not a huge deal, but you do obviously have to pay close attention when they are outdoors.
Would recommend this house to anyone and we would gladly stay again!

Thank you for the great review Michael and thank you for being great guests. We are happy you enjoyed your stay at the cottage. Unfortunately our country road can get a little busier right around Traverse City's Cherry Festival week. We have added a fire pit and hope to see your family back soon!
I'm not sure you could find a more perfect place to stay up north! One of the cleanest, nicest vacation rentals we've stayed at in a long time. We will definitely book again!
Beautifully remodeled house that fit myself, my husband, two grandparents and two toddlers perfectly! The location to the tart trail cannot be beat if you are coming up for biking. We would def stay here again...and might be planning a fall trip already :)
Loved the house and all the extras ie wine, coffee, snacks, water. The firepit was another added bonus which we enjoyed. Also, the bike/walking trail behind the house was wonderful.....walked most mornings!
The property was wonderful. Everything is new and clean. So much attention given to the detail in this home.
The bike trail is right in the back yard.
The owner was extremely responsive to our questions.
Definitely recommend.
Hi, My name is Charlie, my wife Cynthia are excited to share our family cottage. This house was originally built by my grand parents in 1953. We purchased the house from our family in early 2020. Our goal was to keep this house and property in our family and share this with others. We started off the renovation by adding an addition which is the master suite and bath. We have replaced the roofing, siding, windows, exterior doors, electrical, plumbing, heating & cooling including AC. We also removed all the interior walls, changed room & wall locations, installed all new insulation, drywall, paneling, beams, doors, kitchen, appliances, bathrooms ect.. Everything in this cottage is new. We know you will love your stay here.
