minimally furnished, sporadic function of wall outlets, location is close to a few decent independent, restaurants, and food stands. Laundry is overpriced and medieval. The apartment hadn't been cleaned thoroughly prior to our arrival as evidenced through a dirty coffee pot that had been put away as if clean, and floors that felt like they were mopped with something possessing mild adhesive qualities.

Place was nice and clean

Nice place, good general location. It was fairly hot, lacking air conditioning. We used fans and kept windows open to stay cool, though open windows made it loud - apartment fronts a busy street. But overall, nice place.

Family Birthday Celebration

Many choose to stay in a VRBO with a kitchen because they plan on using the kitchen. This kitchen was not usable. Description says suitable for 5. Kitchen had 2 bowls, 4 chairs, 1 glass, 1 salad plate and no hot pads, serving bowls or kitchen towels. For pans you had a stock pot or a 2 cup saucepan with a handle about to fall off. One leg of the kitchen table was barely hanging on. I contacted the manager, via text and email with pictures, about lots of pink mold in the bathroom and never heard back from them. The towel rack was off the wall and in the cabinet. Thankful each room had a fan. More lights were needed if you like a lit room, especially the front/family room. The steps up to the apartment are very steep and shallow. And there is no landing between the stairs and the front door.

I was very disappointed when there was an email to contact the property owner, but no one answered any of my emails. Even after finding his phone number we still weren't able to receive answers. Very disappointing.

Cheap and smelly, but cheap

As soon as we walked in the place reeked of wet dog. We weren’t able to sit on the couch or we’d end up smelling like wet dog. We reached out to the property manager on the first night but they never got back to us throughout our stay. I didn’t know toilet paper was available in such thin sheets & I’m pretty sure the hand soap in the bathroom was watered down mop solution. The kitchen table had left over rings from someone before us. Everything else was fine–the heater was effective and the location was nice. It’s priced cheap and the location is good but you’re not going to want to spend much time in the unit. Also, don’t expect anything from management if there’s and issue. Probably wouldn’t stay again since there are better places nearby for an extra few bucks.
