NEWLY RENOVATED Historic Building that had previously served as the ticket station, Post Office and General Store . Private Suite Right ON The Virginia Creeper Trail Overlooking The Holston River. The 34 mile Virginia Creeper Trail is right off the doorstep.
1 King bed sleeps two adults. Suite location is on the bottom floor with private entrance. Suite is equipped with High speed Wi-fi. All televisions are SmartTV's, perfect for accessing your Netflix, YouTube, Amazon Prime accounts, etc. Linens and towels provided. Winery is walking distance. Downtown Abingdon Restaurants and Barter Theater just a short 8 mile drive. Downtown Damascus also a short drive away.
Easy drive to Bristol Motor Speedway. 3 night stays are required for all holiday weekends, (Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, etc) weekends in September and October and Bristol Race weekends.
3 night minimum stays for all weekends. 2 night minimum stays for weekdays.

This was a perfect place for us this past week-end. There was a celebration going on in the park area across the street but we never had a problem. We actually sat on the porch for a long time listening to the music. Enjoyed the stay!

We stayed at Alvarado Station and were SO happy we did so! The owner was so welcoming and stayed in constant communication to make sure we were happy and enjoyed our stay. The rooms were very clean, we had everything we needed and the bed was cozy and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again!

This property is so cute! The inside is even cuter than the pictures online. We also loved the closeness to the vineyard. The scenery is beautiful and this was a perfect location for our stay in Abingdon.

In the middle of all the action!

Great location for enjoying the Creaper Trail. We were able to access all parts of the Trail with our bikes. Good access to Abingdon and Damascus. Rental had all the amenities needed and then some. Stocked with snacks, water and coffee made for a nice touch. Clean and updated. Great attention to detail. We walked across to the river at night when everyone was gone and enjoyed the stars with the river sounds.

I can't say enough about how perfect this suite is! Perfect size for 2 people, very clean, the kitchen had everything that we needed, plenty of fluffy towels. I own a cleaning business and property management so I can't help but be a little picky and I can say I would not change a thing. Dorata and Marc are some of the nicest people we have met in the area and can not wait to return again next year.

Loved our stay! Alvaredo Station was perfect for my husband and I. We had everything we needed. Kitchen was well equipped for the meals we made there. We appreciated the water, snacks and coffee provided. Linens and towels were luxurious and plentiful. Shower was a bit small but the hot water never ran out. Location across from the park and river was great. Rode on the Creeper from the front door into Abington. Short drive to Damascus to shuttle up to White Top. Short drive to Barton Theatre. Host communication was easy. Thanks for a great getaway!

great location, beautiful scenery, nicely updated suite and owner was very quick in responding and making sure we had everything we needed. She allowed an early check-in which gave us the two full days we were hoping for. They even stock the suite with water and a variety of snacks. Will be going back!

Spotless, gorgeous accommodations

Highly recommend staying at this lil gem. Comfortable bed, clean, incredibly spacious, newly renovated, well decorated and thoughtfully set up suite. Nice and quiet with the river right across from the front door. My hubby and I stayed here for our 5th anniversary so we could enjoy the VA creeper bike trail and Abingdon/ Damascus. Abingdon winery was 1/2 mile down the road. It was perfect. Thank you Dorata for helping us make decisions on how to enjoy the area!

This place was absolutely beautiful. If we could live there we would. I don't think I could have picked out a better place to stay so we could go to the Bristol Race. You will not be disappointed.

Perfect stay in perfect location!

This is our second stay at Alvarado station. The first visit we were upstairs and this time we stayed in the new downstairs unit. It is located directly on the Creeper Trail and about 1/2 mile down the road from the Abingdon Winery. The setting is just beautiful as the river is directly across the street with swings to sit in while you relax. Inside the host has thought of everything from ice cold waters to a jarful of snacks. The bed and linens are so luxurious that you are all but guaranteed a peaceful nights sleep. This has become our go to vacation rental when we visit the Creeper Trail. Five stars ++
