Bernie was an excellent host, kept us informed, and gave us local restaurant recommendations. He supported us well during our stay and was easy to communicate with. The house is amazingly stocked for fun at the beach, and is well organized. The location is perfect for beach fun, seclusion, and walking to the town/shops/restaurants. The property is extremely well maintained, definitely the best house on the strip.

This house is perfectly placed...whether it’s walking out the front door to the beach or down the block to dinner. We loved every minute! Bernie was awesome and available if we had a question.

Welcome to Folly Beach

We loved this place! Great location. The ocean was our backyard. We could walk to the market within 5 minutes. The house was a HOME and it had everything we needed in the kitchen. The property manager was so helpful and personable. We can't wait to go back!

Location, amenities, clean, great condition

This is one of the nicer homes on the beach at "new Folly." Kitchen and one master on top level with great views. Well-stocked kitchen with nice appliances. Location is great - 2.5 blocks from the commercial area, but far enough that the noise doesn't reach. Next time, we would stay longer. A weekend of 42 hours (4 pm Fri - 10 am Sun) is not enough to enjoy this place fully. Also, one of the queens is in the common space, so pay attention that there are 4 bedrooms if privacy is an issue.

The house was amazing! This was the best stocked VRBO we've ever stayed in. The kitchen had everything we needed. There were plenty of beach towels, chairs, and boogie boards for our older teens/young adults. The outdoor shower and well-placed water hoses were ideal for cleaning off the sand. The two decks were a dream and gave us plenty of room to spread out and enjoy the view. We spent most of our time out there! The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms off of each bedroom were ideal for our group. The garage/parking was so convenient, particularly as Folly parking can be a real challenge. We had a van, a large truck, and a sedan, and had plenty of room. Bernie was a phenomenal host and kept in touch with us during our stay. Would definitely rent here again!

House is perfect - excellent beach location with great breezes on the decks and wonderful views! The house is loaded with all of the beach supplies and games. Kitchen is well stocked too. Very close to Folly’s downtown - walkable to everything.

Exactly as advertised

The house is easy to access, clean, and filled with every amenity you need for a perfect week at the beach. The owner is extremely helpful and communicative. My wife and I brought our 16-year-old daughter and 5 of her friends. The master bedroom is on its own floor (which does include the kitchen and dining room) but the 1st floor also has a living room and small refrigerator, so the girls had privacy ,and easy access to the beach. It couldn't have been a more pleasurable experience. The ideal place with an ideal owner. 10/10!

As good as it gets

Bernie's place is even more wonderful than the photos suggest. The views are incredible. Completely delivered on the amenities, and even had a new grill and beach gear that saved us a lot of trouble. My friends can't wait to book the place next year.

Highly recommend

This house was very clean and well stocked including the kitchens, bathrooms, and even beach gear. It was perfect for our 3 families and located right on the beach. We didn’t get check instructions until after arrival due to rapid turnover for cleaning which was a little anxiety provoking but the communication was otherwise very prompt. Bernie was great to work with!
