Big Canoe in an “Official Wildlife Sanctuary” that covers 8,000 acres of pristine woodlands, meadows, streams and hiking trails all with resort style amenities.

There are a unique blend of outdoor activities, including, more than twenty miles of free hiking trails! Amenities are available separate fees for owners and guests they include a beach/swimming lake, a rushing water rock slide and playgrounds for the kids. There is a three 9-hole championship golf course, numerous tennis courts, pickle ball courts, a jeep trail, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a state-of-the-art fitness center plus a marina on a gorgeous lake with pontoon boats, kayak and canoe rentals all on a fishing lake.

The Big Bear Pub at the Clubhouse offers fine dining for lunch and dinner. There is a bar with take-out menus, Sunday brunch with weekend live music and entertainment.

This adorable 3-bedroom 2-bath treetopper can accommodate up to 6 guests with 1 King, 1 queen and 1 double bed. With light filtering shades you can go to sleep at night looking at the moon and stars in the distance. All of our guests have a bed to sleep in for maximum comfort. Our cozy home also features 180 degrees woodland views from every room plus vaulted wood ceilings, modern wood floors with an updated kitchen and bathrooms. Other amenities include a fully stocked kitchen with refrigerator, oven, microwave and coffee maker, plus a wrap around deck with plenty of off street parking in the front and back of the unit.

Our hope is to make your stay at Big Canoe as memorable as possible. Our treetop cottage is on a level lot located in the heart of the park just minutes away from all amenities and restaurants just outside the gate. Please note, certain motorized vehicles are strictly prohibited by the POA from being operated by Property Owners and Guests anywhere within Big Canoe. This list includes, but is not limited to, motorcycles, motor scooters, motorized bicycles, trail bikes, golf carts and all-terrain vehicles. There are 2 motion sensored security cameras located outside of our property. The Big Canoe POA Enforces the following rules:
1) Noise levels must be kept to a minimum after 7PM.
2) Exterior lighting must not become a nuisance to the neighboring properties.
Please ensure all exterior lighting is turned off when not in use.
3) Outdoor burning (including fire pits) is not permitted.
4) Parking on the street is not permitted. Please ensure all parking is in the
driveway of the residence or in designated parking areas.
5) Intentional feeding of the wildlife is prohibited.
6) All dogs must be on a leash and must have identification tags.
7) Non- motorized vehicles are prohibited.
8) Walking on the Golf Course is prohibited unless playing golf.
9) No unregistered watercrafts are allowed in any Big Canoe lake.
10) Signs, balloons, etc. are not allowed leading to any residence.
Continued violations of the Rules and Regulations of Big Canoe can result in
fines up to $1000.00.
