I loved staying at this quaint, peaceful studio apartment. Host was helpful and friendly. Great restaurants within walking distance. I already miss my morning cup of coffee on the porch looking out at the bay!
Cute nautical themed cottage on banks of the river. Pam thought of everything, making our stay so pleasant and relaxing. Its in an incredible location, right down the street from the Galesville wharf and restaurants. Its also a quick drive from Annapolis marina, and there are so many lovely hikes to do nearby. The cottage is on a quiet street, and has many windows which let in lots of sunlight. And it looks just like the pictures! For a relaxing gettaway, this is the place!
The house was very clean and just like it looked in the pictures. Pamela was super nice and very helpful the whole time. Definitely a great trip!

Gorgeous setting right near waters edge with sailboats on moorings, in a park like setting. Cozy studio, with charming nautical decor.very comfortable.
Studio with plenty of space for one. Nicely decorated, ample supplies. Petite front porch to watch the river from. Pam was friendly and welcoming, and I will certainly happily stay here again!
Unit is attached to owners detached garage. Lovely quiet setting with water view (property not on the water). Clean, tasteful nautical decor. Note that other than electric baseboard in bathroom, unit not heated, so can be chilly early or late in season. There is an AC.

Thanks for your good review! The property has a split through the wall unit which is AC and heat. Sorry, if the directions for the heat operation were not clear. Wish I’d have known as I would have turned the heat on!
The cottage is decorated just like the pictures show in the advertisement. It's super cute, clean, and cozy. The linens and amenities added to the perfect stay also - coffee maker, coffee, toiletries, extra towels, mints, blue-tooth speaker... We enjoyed coffee on the porch every morning and a cocktail in the evening, looking out at the water. The chickens were fun to watch. They are in a coop and were very quiet. (No rooster.) The owner responded to messages quickly. She even called to verify some information. The check-in and check-out details were provided prior to our visit and made the whole process seamless. This was a perfect location for our getaway! I grew up in the area and wanted to be close to family and a wedding venue. We enjoyed lunch at Stan and Joe's and dinner at Pirates Cove. Both are right on the water in Galesville, just 2 minutes from the cottage. I would highly recommend this cottage and plan to visit again!

Thank you for your kind words! You are welcome back anytime!
I was not expecting this place to be a part of the garage. The driveway is long and narrow. It is very close to the main house. Difficult to drive to and from the place. For this reason, I would not rent again along with owner asking me to take the trash out. No dishwasher and you are expected to wash dishes before you leave. Wine glasses provided are plastic so if you expect glass bring your own. Place is pretty basic. Bed is small (full size) but pretty comfortable. The Best part of the trip was going to the restaurant, Pirate's Cove every day. Great food and service.

Thank you for your review and glad to hear that you enjoyed the local restaurants. Most guests enjoy the seclusion, privacy and the beautiful view. Glad you found the queen bed comfortable.
We strive for a clean, pest free environment and that’s why we ask for clean dishes and trash removal.
This was a perfect place for a weekend getaway. The cottage is lovely, and it is located on a beautiful site on the banks of a scenic river. It was exceptionally clean.
We loved our stay at the cottage, and our visit to the Annapolis area where my father and I grew up. It was the last piece of the puzzle for my father, as he passed just 9 days after returning home. I am so glad I got him down there one last time.
If Pat would text me at 1-709-689-3352, I would appreciate it, since I lost her cell number. My father will never go back, but I certainly will, maybe sooner than later.
We had a very good time. Quite location, peaceful scenery, central to visiting nearby attractions like Annapolis and DC. Close enough to walk down to the water/dock for dinner in the evenings.
We had a perfect getaway at this property. Clean and welcoming as described. We used this as our base and traveled to Annapolis one day and St Michaels another day. Only regret is that we did not take more time to relax and enjoy the scenic quiet porch . Definitely would recommend this property to friends and family.
Clean, perfectly appointed with chocolates on the pillows and beverages in the refrigerator! Everything you may need or might have forgotten to bring, is right there for you. The perfect getaway if you are looking for relaxation in a beautiful water view setting.
