Wonderful Galesville Getaway! Our stay in Galesville was absolutely delightful, and we can't recommend Pam's VRBO highly enough! Pam was a truly gracious host, always quick to respond to our messages and making us feel right at home.Galesville itself is a charming town that reminded me of my own maritime hometown in New Jersey. The main street, adorned with American flags, leads straight to the marina, where we enjoyed delicious meals at both Pirates Cove and Stan and Joe's Riverside—both just a short, pleasant walk from the house. We also appreciated the small park with easy access to a kayak launch if anyone was interested. The house itself is a beautifully newly renovated two-bedroom, one-bath gem. The game room was a fantastic bonus, featuring a full-size multi-arcade game with classics like Pac-Man and Donkey Kong, as well as a dartboard, providing hours of fun. The living room was equally inviting, with a large TV and an extremely comfortable couch, all enhanced by the lovely artwork that gave the entire space a warm and welcoming feel. We especially loved starting our mornings with coffee in the bay window, enjoying the peaceful view of the neighbors' chickens and a peek at the West River. The master bedroom was spacious and boasted the most comfortable, soft linens, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The bathroom was spotless, with a great shower offering good water pressure. The location was ideal for us. It was a short distance from the Naval Academy, where our son
