Pristine Lakes

The location of Curry Place is perfect and the loft was just right for us, especially the screened-in porch! The water quality in both lakes (and the canal right behind Curry Place which connects Squam Lake and Little Squam Lake) is exceptional. Annie and Rob were fantastic hosts!! We'll be back!

Perfection in Holderness

My family gathers at Curry Place every summer and we adore the property and the hosts. Different family members rent different homes on the property to suit their size/needs but I have rented the Loft for myself the past few years and it is perfection! The hosts are wonderful and attentive, there are thoughtful appointments throughout the clean and aesthetically pleasing space and the Loft is situated on the second floor with its own entrance and private/peaceful screened porch overlooking the property and channel beyond. The location itself is also stellar as you are in the center of Holderness next to a library (great kids activities), the post office, a great restaurant (Walter’s Basin), a wonderful marketplace with yummy food/sandwiches (Squam Lake Marketplace), a marina with boat rentals and you are around the corner from Squam Lakes Natural Science Center (great for kids and has daily boat tours as well). And, if you need anything outside of Holderness (we seldom do), Plymouth is about 15 minutes away so you can easily access larger brand stores/restaurants.All of the above and you can literally see and walk across the yard to the channel between Big and Little Squam lakes (they have two private docks on the property but Loft guests must ask if there is available space since the docks are shared with the other rental homes).The hosts of Curry Place offer their guests a high level of hospitality and that has (and will!) keep my family coming back every year!
