***In response to our 1 star review***
Tim’s reservation was for 3 nights. On the 2nd night, he asked to rent a 4th night, which we agreed to.
There are 18 text messages between Tim and I during his stay. He never states that he has any issues with the condition of the property or using its amenities.
We provide professional cleaning in between renters, detailed instructions on how to use the property amenities, and have a local caretaker to assist our guests should an issue arise.
Based on our interaction with Tim, we were blindsided by his review. We reached out to ask why he never mentioned his property concerns and requested documentation of his complaints. He has not responded.

Kristi was very accommodating. The place was beautiful. The weather was perfect. My husband and I, 16 yr old, an 11 yr old, & two 9 yr olds. Worked out Great! Big beds and gorgeous view sunrise to sunset We will definitely be back.
The property had some challenges from a once in a lifetime rain event the weekebd before we arrived.the roof was damaged and some water made itself in. The property owners were up front with issues and very responsive to our questions. The streets are narrow and parking was a challenge but we made it work. Overall good place and comfortable.
Great place to visit accommodations were great with lots of room for everyone although there is no view you are still on the point of the Colorado river which is only a few steps away. We had a great time renting for 4 weeks .
Thank you to Carlos and Kristi
We absolutely loved this house! Beautiful location on the water. Nice size for a family, great kitchen for cooking. The patio is a beautiful space that is very inviting. Our purpose of the trip was mining at Red Cloud, it was as close as you could get to the mine. About an hour drive to the mine. The patio area was a perfect place to put your dirty clothes and shoes. But we also were able to leave our minerals and coolers on the patio and knew they would be safe. The owners and caretaker were very attentive and friendly.

Mary, we loved hosting you and are happy you had fun!
Great stay, everything was as advertised. 3 things could be improved, 1. Parking with a boat attached was very difficult. 2. Cobwebs all on ceiling lights. 3. The breaker kept popping when we would turn heaters on in the rooms and made it tough to stay warm
After 23 years of owning different trailers at Hidden Shores, renting may be our new way to go. This home was great. Close to the water. Owners Carlos and Kristi couldn't have been nicer. Very clean. All kinds of games, darts & casino games, are there. I would rent again

Marc and his wife are awesome. Great communication before checking in and after. The house was left extremely clean and they are always welcome back.
I'm a 2nd generation San Diegan and split my time between there and Martinez Lake. I like to spend my time outside- on the water, hiking, or exploring new areas with my family and friends.
Why they chose this property
There are 5 air conditioners & a newly installed split air that keep the home ice cold in summer and room heaters & an electric fireplace in the living room that keep it warm in the winter.
The patio has a bar, teak patio table set, a sectional couch, party lights, a dart board and floor to ceiling curtains that can be drawn for privacy.
A ceiling heater above the patio's sectional couch and a propane firepit keep you warm and cozy on cooler nights and 5 ceiling fans help cool you during the warm months.
What makes this property unique
A 2 minute walk takes you to "The Point" where you can watch the sunset and take in the amazing desert firesky.
