About this property

The Spaceship -Canal Home with Kayaks- Near the Beach

Known as "The Spaceship House" in Sea Isle Community. Enjoy a 360 degree outdoor view from Unique Spaceship house. 2 separate houses connect by a hall way. Upper level has 2 spacious living rooms, 2 kitchens, 3 bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, and private deck with a beautiful Canal views. Two kayaks are available to use in the canal. Lots of outdoor space to enjoy fishing/swimming from the deck or under the house away from the sun.

Enjoy one of Sea Isle's biggest lot and deck. A Spacious and 2500 square feet home on a 8300 square feet lot. At our bay home, just jump right into the water if you would like! A charcoal grill is provided (please supply charcoal) and plenty of outdoor seating with tables. The deck has a hammock so you can relax and fully take in your water surroundings. Chairs are located in both shaded covered areas and open sunny areas.

The downstairs area also includes a storage and a 1/2 bath.

Whether you're looking to soak up some sun in the Sea Isle' pool, quick walk to the marina and restaurant, free access to children playground within the community, it's all within a mile of our home. You will also have access to the community boat launch and fishing pier with our provided keys. Above all else, ' The Spaceship' is a place to get away for awhile, relax, and enjoy life with each other!



* Summer Only -Sea Isle pool passes are $100 per reservation (open Memorial Day thru Labor Day) and must be purchased directly from the Sea Isle HOA Monday – Friday until 5 pm only. Pool passes are not sold after hours or weekends.


A 6 seaters golf cart is available to rent for a fee during your stay!
2 days for $175 and 3 + day for $250.
Let me know before your trip if you’d like to rent it out and I’ll request the payment in a timely manner. Once the payment is received, the information on how to use the golf cart will be sent.


Beach Access: The Sea Isle Beach access point is a 5-10 minute walk or less than a minute drive away.

WIFI: High-speed WIFI is available throughout the home.


Your fluffy family members are welcomed here at The Spaceship. There will be an additional charge of $50 per pet for the entirety of your stay (the limit is 2 pets). Please inform us beforehand if you are bringing a pet.

Great place to stay while in Galveston!

This house was nice & spacious, enough to spread out! It was designed so that two separate families could have their own privacy if needed. You can fish downstairs right on the canal, and kayaks are available for your use. We enjoyed our stay here and would definitely rent this house again!

Unique house, it took a little while to get used to the multiple doors and entrants and exits, lol and light switches and fans. We enjoyed having an elevator especially for the grandmas, we had a few issues the first night, but the owners rectified. It the very next day, which was much appreciated

Great marketing

First, I will say Joyce was always very responsive. Property, however, was very dirty. Cups by the coffee pot had mold, filthy fixtures, stained wash clothes just to name a few things.

Very convenient Layout

We really enjoyed our stay. The layout is almost like two different homes were joined together and you can isolate them for the most part. The layout works very well surprising. Both kitchens are fully functional which is a plus. We fished off the dock in the back and it was fun for small bait fish. The pier that we had access to was very nice and extended far into the sandbar. Use maps to get an idea but we crabbed and fished off it. I recommend this place.

Lots of Room/Great Location

Lots of room. Great location on canal. The place feels like a duplex. Just beware that there are narrow stairs and stairs without rails. That made us very nervous with our young children and older adults (thank goodness for the elevator use for the grandparents). Lots of steps outside too. There also needs to be plasticware in the kitchens for the children (all dishes were glass) On the upside, the beds were VERY comfortable and grandparents could go to one side for a little quiet time. The price is great and the neighborhood was great!! We enjoyed the kayaks. The beach was very very close and so was a store. If you don't mind steps and stairs... this is a great spot.

this property was so unique! it has 2 separate sides with their own kitchens so two families could easily vacation or parents on one side and older kiddos on the other. the outside is amazing and large area. highly recommend!!!

Great family home!

My family really enjoyed staying at the spaceship home! Plenty of space for all of us, right on the water, the kids loved the kayaks and hammock and just a really cool home! Lots of time spent on the deck while we were there. Communication with Joyce was great and very easy. The only "bad" thing I can say is that the wifi didn't work. But that was a blessing in disguise! We definitely will be back!

Family Vacation at The Spaceship -Canal Home-2

We had a great time at The Spaceship, the house is very comfortable and plenty of spaces to enjoy with the Family. Location is very good, several accesses to the beach close to the house. Also the hose is very well equipped. The Host / Owner was very helpful in providing house and area instructions. I highly recommend this house for a Family vacation. Franklin Espiga
