Located in the heart of downtown, this pet-friendly retreat offers a cozy haven with modern amenities, including a fully equipped kitchen, high-speed Wi-Fi, and a private patio to enjoy lake views. Perfect for families and pet lovers alike, it’s an ideal base for exploring the area’s outdoor adventures and local attractions.

Before you arrive, here's some information to help you prepare for your stay: Check-in time is 4:00 PM, and check-out is at 10:00 AM. We kindly ask that you keep noise levels down to a reasonable level to respect all neighbors. Smoking is not permitted inside the property. We stayed for a week and absolutely loved the home. As dog people, having the dog door into the back yard was the #1 reason we chose this one. It is a small cottage, not a 3,000 foot home, but was perfect for a short stay. The kitchen is well stocked with lots of pots, pans, dishes, and utensils. The grill cooked some amazing chicken. Our daughter flew in from Florida and the basement suite was perfect for her. The only issue was the head room on the stairs going down, but they even included a cute “Watch You Head” sign. There were a few very minor questions we had and the management teams was VERY responsive. If you are a walker, especially a dog walker, it is a great walking neighborhood. Everyone was friendly except for the flock of wild turkeys around the corner. They for some reason did not want to play with my lab mix. And it is just four blocks to the Tubbs Hill trail system on the edge of the lake. It is a moderately steep but short climb to the top of the hill or you can stay level and take the two mile walk around the hill along the lakeshore. If you are looking for a cozy cottage to have a quiet hideaway, this is it. And if the weather is nice, the back yard is even more welcoming than the inside. It’s fenced and great for kids or dogs. If you would like to go out for food or shopping, there are lots of one-of-a-kind shops and restaurants in the ¾ mile between home and the Coeur d’Alene resort. There is a definite reason this home has 10/10 reviews.

Perfect house

This was the perfect house in a great neighborhood. Just a few blocks from everything - the lake, Tubbs Hill, the Main Street, etc. But it was still quiet and relaxing. The house is precious, and the backyard is gorgeous. Our fur baby loved running around!

Great house at a great location

The property is located within minutes of downtown Coeur d’Alene, and within walking distance to the beach. The backyard is fantastic to hang out and relax with a fire pit and waterfall feature. The home itself was extremely clean, and the kitchen had everything you need to cook a meal. Bathrooms were immaculate. We will definitely stay here again. Thanks for a great time!

We had such a wonderful stay at the Beach Cottage. My son graduation from UI and we decided to celebrate in Coeur d'Alene. The house was perfect for us. Walking distance to downtown and a beautiful backyard to hang out. My doggie loved it too! We will be back!!!

Wonderful stay in a very cozy near downtown

We enjoyed our stay very much. The cottage was cozy and clean, and was so well equipped. Especially the kitchen, there were so many cooking implements and equipment. This was greatly appreciated, as I and my friend are serious cooks, and we found almost everything we needed to prepare our meals. There is a Traeger smoker as well as a BBQ grill, many games and books, extra blankets everywhere, comfortable beds and bedding, wonderful fenced in yard with a lovely fountain and a doggie door for our pooch. We had such a lovely stay in this cottage.

This was a very updated and very nice property. Everything was new and clean. Backyard was great with the waterfall. Communication was outstanding after we checked out. Stairs a little steep for our little pups, but we blocked it. Otherwise no complaints.

All was great!

We greatly enjoyed our stay. We spent a good deal of time sitting in your beautiful backyard listening to the babbling brook! We also loved the fact that it was easy to walk to town and to the lake through charming neighborhoods. Suggestions: trash can needed in the downstairs bathroom, note somehow that kitchen light is behind refrigerator(silly us we couldn't find it!), note to seniors that stairs going to 2nd bedroom are challenging(our friends could not have used that bedroom...steps narrow and ceiling height in stairwell is low.)
