Beautiful Bristol Home across from Blithwolde Mansion

Located in the historic coastal town of Bristol, RI, this large 4,500 square foot family home is perfect for a family vacation, a friends’ getaway or a wedding party. Conveniently located across from Blithewold Mansion and less than a 5 minute drive to historic downtown Bristol as well as Roger Williams University and Mount Hope Farm. It is close to Newport (20 minutes) and downtown Providence (30 minutes). The property consists of a Main House and a full in-law suite. The Main House has three bedrooms (K,Q,F) and two- and one-half bathrooms. The Master bedroom includes an en suite bathroom with a soaking tub. There is plenty of space for entertaining including an eat-in kitchen, a formal dining room w/ fireplace, a large living room w/ fireplace and a cozy TV den. The In-law suite has a full kitchen, two bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. One of the bedrooms has a king-sized Murphy Bed and an electronic stand-up desk with monitor for all your work from home requirements. Both kitchens are fully stocked for all your cooking and hosting needs and both sides have their own washer and dryer. The home is in an L shape that wraps around a beautiful outdoor oasis with a large in-ground pool and hot tub. Outside you will find a gas grill, a gas fire pit and multiple seating areas for lounging, cocktails and meals. There is a projector and screen that can be set up for outdoor movie nights or watching the game. All TV’s are connected via Wi-fi to access Hulu, Netflix, etc. Luxury linens and towels are provided.

The best VRBO property I have ever seen...beautifully appointed, lots of room for the family to spread out in different areas, fabulous outdoor space...two luxury primary suites. My family of 8 stayed here for my daughter's wedding which was held across the street at the Blithewold Manor and we could not have chosen a more perfect spot. It was the ideal place for all of us to get ready for the big day. Bill & Donna have gone above and beyond to make your stay carefree and it was so wonderful to meet them upon our arrival and have them give us the full tour of their home. Their hospitality is above and beyond. And the house and the gardens are gorgeous...with beautiful gardens outside surrounding the pool and hot bu and gorgeous decor inside this pristine home. I highly recommend this spot for any occasion but we could not have chosen a better place for our family to stay during this very special wedding weekend.

This was an absolute perfect experience across the board. We had 6 adults and 6 children, and can say that none of us have ever had such a perfect stay anywhere! All the kids wanted to stay and live here… We adults totally agreed, it was a dream house. From the decor, to the pool/hot tub, to the flawless never ending amenities (Donna’s attention to detail is phenomenal, she thought of everything!). It really felt like home for the 5 nights we were there, we couldn’t ask for a better stay. I worked at a Five Star Four Seasons Hotel for 10 years, and this stay was on par for both the level of service and gorgeous accommodations. We hope to have a chance to book again in the future! Thanks for making our family reunion so memorable…

Beautiful House - Great Communication - Wonderful Stay

We loved our stay in Bristol! We were there as a large family to celebrate my sister’s wedding. The house was the perfect place to all be together on that long weekend. Fantastic weekend in Bristol

This property was amazing and had everyone you need for a vacation! Between the check-in process, the communication, the amenities. This place was a dream, and I would highly recommend for those looking to have the best of both worlds, a pool at home and a drive to Newport/the beach!

Had a great weekend at this location! The house is pristine, and you can tell the owners really care that their guests feel like family when staying! They have thought of everything! The pool is wonderful and it was really great to have 2 kitchens! The house is also in a wonderful location!

The house was perfect for our family gathering. It was super helpful to have two kitchens and both were stocked with everything you need to cook. The owners were responsive and extremely nice! We had a great time and would consider renting the home again next summer.

Beautiful Home that felt like Home

This was a 5 Star Weekend from the day we arrived. Donna and Bill welcomed us with Champagne, Flowers and Scones, as well as a personal tour of their home. Beautiful house

Donna and Bill warmly welcomed us to there house and walked us through. House is spacious with 5 (plus a 6th off the primary) bedrooms. Extremely clean and well appointed! We will stay here again when we return to Bristol.

Great wedding weekend in Bristol!

We stayed at this beautiful and large home for a family wedding at Blithewold Mansion. The location could not have been better! The house itself is much larger than expected and the owners could not have been more hospitable! We only wished that it was warmer so that we could enjoy the beautiful pool. I would highly recommend this property!!!

Great Family Vacation Spot

This was a charming rental with two houses combined into one large family space. There were 2 kitchens, which was great for a large family. The house was impeccable, with lots of areas to hang out in groups or to sit quietly reading. The hosts were great, welcomed us to the property, gave us tips on the area, and Donna even brought us excellent blueberry muffins from the local farmer's market. They were a great pick-me-up after a long cross-country flight. Would definitely stay again.

AMAZING STAY!!

This house is EVERYTHING! Stocked & ready to host your family for a big event or just a relaxing getaway. We rented this house for our daughter's wedding at Mt Hope Farm & it was pure perfection. Donna & Bill are the kindest hosts & opened their home to us. The decor, landscaping & overall aesthetic of this home is stunning. Everywhere you look are little details that make this space comfortable & high-end. Thank you for making our celebration truly special.

Amazing Property

Our stay was an amazing experience. The home had everything you could think of. Extremely comfortable and relaxing for our entire party of 11 adults. Homeowner was a pleasure to deal with. Very responsive and couldn’t do enough for us. We would highly recommend. In fact we all had such a wonderful stay we are thinking of making it an annual event!!! It was difficult to leave.

Amazing home for Family Wedding Weekend

What a wonderful, beautiful home - so comfortable & spacious for a family wedding weekend or any family getaway! Donna met us at the house & made us feel so welcome. We were in town for a wedding at Mt Hope Farm just a short drive away. Our family group included our six year old twin grandsons who absolutely loved the pool & the jacuzzi was used constantly. Many thanks to our hosts for sharing their incredible home with us. We’d love to stay there again. Highly recommend this amazing home.

Perfect weekend in Bristol

The perfect location in Bristol for easy access to Blithewold, Portsmouth and downtown Bristol. Not only were the rooms and furniture beautiful and comfortable, but there was plenty of space for our family and an abundance of amenities. The pool and hot tub were enjoyed by all. A true pleasure after a day in the sun and humidity. We couldn’t have asked for better hosts. They were extremely helpful and responsive, and provided us with recommendations in the area. We hope we can visit again in the future!

Family vacation

Home was lovely, there was an abundance of kitchen and general supplies that were extremely handy. Beds were firm but comfortable, all bedrooms and bathrooms were so well appointed and made you feel indulgent! Property managers were available for questions or instructions (there was a technical glitch with the hot tub pump and pool waterfall was out of order during our stay). One note, if staying with small children, many doors lead out to pool/jacuzzi and there is no safety fence around the pool/jacuzzi itself. Would absolutely recommend to anyone for a great vacation.

We were married at Mt Hope Farm back in 2016 and have talked about moving back ever since. Now that we are here we love spending time on the water sailing and split our time between Bristol and Prudence Island.
