My family stayed in this lovingly restored farm house. The owner provided the perfect binder full of information to acquaint us to our surroundings and was very responsive to our needs and inquiries. Wish we had more time to explore. Will return!
The house was very convenient to the wedding venue. The screened porch on the back was a nice place to gather in the morning. Safeway was conveniently located to get more pods for the kurig -- 6 were not enough for my family of 5 for 2 nights. Tara responded quickly to my query about an iron and ironing board. No ironing board, but turns out there was a steamer and towels for the upstairs bath in a "hidden" closet -- tucked away so that we didn't notice it;
Charming little get away.
Don't rent this home until they update the plumbing
Two things, and they appear to be related. First and foremost, the plumbing is for all intent and purpose, non-functioning. Spits, almost no pressure, no control of hot and cold, obviously ancient and not in proper working order. Then to find out there are three bath towels for a home advertising three bedrooms...give me a break. My guess is that they can't have towels because during the turn between old and new renters, with the plumbing what it is, there is no real way to wash linens and towels. I am not happy about my families stay. We actually quit on Saturday AM and moved to a hotel.
comfortable for five and even the sixth person. Cute house, convenient location. Need instructions on using shower heads and on what tv channels are available.
My family stayed at this property while in town for a wedding. The house is spacious, well equipped, and has very comfy beds. Since our days and evenings were filled with wedding festivities we weren’t at the house a lot but I can imagine enjoying the screened porch or a fire in the outdoor pit would have been lovely!
My family and I enjoyed making s’mores at the fire pit in back yard, sitting in screened-in porch just relaxing, and walking to the stores while staying at the house. It is only minutes to everything like the Bay Bridge Marina where we were visiting family. It has plenty of room and is very clean. Kathy I’d a very nice host. I will look to rent again in the future.
This is a very nice historic home in the heart of Stevensville which makes it an easy walk to a few nice shops and restaurants but also subject to some traffic noise due to location. The only drawback is the bedroom/bathroom situation One bath up, on bath down but all bedrooms up and the stairs are steep. The vintage tubs are charming but proved to be dangerous for my sister in law in her 70’s. We made due and enjoyed the comfortable beds and nice amenities. Host was friendly and helpful at check in.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this quaint, historic farmhouse in the historic district of Stevensville. The host was prompt with answers to questions and the house has been modernized (although sparsely furnished and decorated). We took full advantage of the walking distance to shops/restaurants and spent most of our time reconnecting with family in the large backyard. We certainly wouldn't hesitate to book this property again.
This is an adorable spot with a nice lay out, the screened porch was a wonderful haven to read a book and have a cup of coffee with my book! The back yard is huge and we enjoyed the fire pit on most nights, the laundry room was large and bright, and the kitchen has everything you need to make a meal, we cooked most nights and everything you can think of was provided. The bedrooms are comfortable, I can only speak of the master bc I slept there, but wow was the mattress perfect! This historical house is cute, convenient to all things Kent Island and dripping in charm!!
This charming property was perfect for our girls weekend. We loved the old charm of this house, the backyard, and the location! The renters were great in answering questions and welcoming us with a sweet basket and sign.
The home was lovely, particularly the screened in porch. Location was good for exploring the area. Proximity to Cross Island trail excellent. We are a group who likes to cook and there were very few pots and pans. Unevenness of bathroom and kitchen floor a little disconcerting. Kathy left a beautiful gift basket and was responsive to our questions.
