One of our favorite places to visit. We try to come at least once a year. It’s perfectly situated, has wonderful amenities and a spectacular garden area.
This is a really great place to stay. The cottage was clean, well furnished, updated, great location, and overall great experience. I plan to be back! Thank you.
First time to Apalachicola and Oyster Cottage was a perfect location to enjoy all the charm of the area. Walking distance to downtown for shopping and restaurants. Close access to bridge for beaches and exploring Eastpoint and St. George Island.
We have stayed at the Oystertown Cottage several times while visiting Apalachicola. As far as we are concerned, there’s no reason to stay anywhere else. Location is amazing, a short walk to everything downtown has to offer and just a block away from the brewery and several restaurants. Love the ability to park our boat here as well.
Can’t wait to return!
I thought this cottage was perfect for our short Christmas visit. It worked out great for my dog and I. The fenced in area was a great surprise that allowed my dog some exploration space. I’ll be booking again!
You can walk to so many places everything you need is close by
Property is well equipped though I ate out so didn’t need to use anything
Only complaint cleaning fee is excessive for a 2 night stay for 1 person I can’t imagine how bad they could be and I am a property manger of over 45 units just my two cents it’s probably the norm for this area I did like it enough to rent their loft unit also and stayed longer
Nice little home. Sparse sitting arrangement. Good kitchen, NEEDS MORE CURTAINS or SHADES, other guests can see in some windows. Parking issue-At least 1 parking spot should be designated for House exclusively. great Town and history, 2nd time staying here. May not return to this home due to mentioned . but We love the Forgotten Coast!
Loved it all but the bed needs to be a king. Just small for two adults. We are not big people but the bed is small. Everything else was wonderful for a different experience. Love Apalachicola. We have been coming her about 2 times a month for about 2 years. Please get a larger bed so we will book another stay.
no connection with the outside world-- almost like sensory deprivation
the property was good; but as said-- no TV, no newspaper, no computer access, no radio-- it would have been helpful to have known these things in advance. I can see why the South has turned Republican.
Neat little cottage that looked to be recently refurbished with very good quality appliances, good water pressure and two outdoor sitting/relaxing areas. Right down town, close to nice eating places and just few minutes from St Georges Island. Our third visit to Apalachicola but first time here. Will plan to go back again.
Nice 1 bedroom cottage with full kitchen, living room, bath, washer & dryer. It is 1 block from downtown. Close to restaurants, brewery, gifts, etc. Several beautiful beaches 15-20 minutes away. Enjoyed our stay. Fenced yard handy for pet.
This property is always a pleasure to stay. Location is great, property is always perfect place to stay! This was our fourth stay and have always enjoyed it!
