All are within a block or two of YuleTide. You may enjoy an evening dining in with a complete kitchen and private courtyard with Weber Gas Grill to make it comfortable and easy. Or spend a day exploring the miles of pristine beaches at nearby St George Island, a short 15 minute drive across the spectacular Apalachicola Bay. There is an endless supply of bays and waterways, excellent fishing, and acres of National and State forests to explore. This is home to some of the finest oysters and seafood in the country and YuleTide is privately tucked away in the heart of it all!

Nice stay within walking distance to stores and restaurants. During the day you could hear the store at the front of the loft, but it wasn't bad. Place is nicely decorated and homey.

We loved this place! It was super clean, and well decorated. Very spacious for a couple. We were a 2-3 minute walk from everywhere downtown. We loved all of the lovely exposed brick and wood. I would stay here again, and recommend it to others.

Great location!

This was our second stay at Yuletide and have already booked a third for this summer! Located in the heart of downtown Apalachicola it is easy walking to all shops and restaurants. It is also an adorable loft cottage with all the amenities of home. We had a wonderful time.

Close to downtown

The property was clean and relaxing and quiet. Easy walk to restaurants and the water. We look forward to visiting Apalachicola again and staying at the property. If we stayed longer we would have used the bikes and the outdoor grill that was provided. The garden area was relaxing to sit in the mornings with coffee.

Weekend Getaway

My husband and I had a fantastic stay at the loft. Conveniently close to the shops & restaurants. The bed was extremely comfortable, which always makes a getaway so much more enjoyable. I also liked the extra motion nightlights on the stairs to assist with late night trips to the restroom. We had a great time driving the forgotten coast highway and beaching at SGI. Would definitely stay here again!

Fun time at Yule Tide

Had a great first time visit to Apalachicola. The location of the loft is just perfect. Walkable everywhere and the bikes are available if it is too far to walk. The town itself is quintessential Old Florida. Like you've gone back in time. Beautiful gulf views everywhere you look!

Wowza!

My husband and I were in town for the oyster cook off. We loved the loft! It was full of charm and loaded with everything we needed for a great stay. We were lucky to have nice weather to enjoy the courtyard and the location can't be beat! We walked everywhere. Overall, it was a great expirence and we will be back for sure!

Perfect location to enjoy the old town and riverfront eateries. Space is architecturally excellent and furnishings are a comfortable and fun blend of styles. Fenced in patio entrance protects you from the brightness of the 24 hour service station adjacent to the property. Would rent again.

It’s the perfect location, I honestly can’t imagine a better place for a couple to stay in Apalachicola. The interior design and decor is great The bed is super comfortable and the bedroom loft is incredibly spacious and again, beautifully decorated. Major bonus is the completely private and large courtyard area. Super short and lovely drive to Eastpoiny and St George’s island. But why leave Apalachicola! Seriosuly, this is a gem!

Summertime stay in our fav place!

This loft apartment is so cute! It’s very convenient to our favorite places to dine and have cocktails. It’s also only a short drive to SGI for beautiful beach days! Our loft was cozy and comfortable. The kitchen has everything. There’s a grill too! A bit warm in our loft bedroom in the summer but the fans made it quite comfortable. Only drawback that doesn’t take away from a five star review is the road noise, but you can’t hear it inside, only on the patio. Great place!

A place of peace

We had the rare opportunity to stop our busy, stressful lives and reconnect as a couple. We have been married nearly 35 years, and this was a wonderful reminder of why we got together in the first place. The sense of peace here, even in the middle of town, was palpable. Great property, everything well thought out and well designed. Personal parking spot was an incredible convenience! We WILL be back soon!

great location downtown Apalachicola

The location is walking distance to everything downtown Apalachicola and a short drive to St George Island. The unit was Very Clean and well maintained. The furniture was nice, the bed in the loft was comfortable and the downstairs bathroom had hairdryer, soap and shampoo. The kitchen as in most lofts was small but had everything you needed for your stay. A gas station next door made it nice to pick up a bag of ice for the cooler when making the drive over to St George Island. We were able to park right at the unit which made it easy to load and unload your stuff for the week. We enjoyed our visit to the area and would stay at this lovely loft when returning to the area in the future.

My husband and I visited Apalachicola in June of 2013 and stayed at the loft; we have been searching for the quintessential Southern town – unspoiled by high-rise condos and chains – we found it in Apalach. We loved Apalach and the loft so much, we leapt at the chance to become the new owners and plan to continue to share the loft with visitors when we are not there.
The former owner is an artist and business woman who expertly renovated the space into the lovely loft you see pictured on the web site. With its exposed brick inside, expansive Cypress woodwork and airy high ceilings, the loft is a welcoming haven for visitors. It has the charm of downtown Apalach right outside its door, but also has privacy with an entry through a charming gated courtyard. Many restaurants and shops in the community have been featured in Southern Living, Coastal Living, and Wine Spectator. But what really sold us is the charm of the local residents. Nice people and genuinely kind with visitors.
Apalach is a walk-around-town with a collection of interesting and quaint shops. We’d be glad to share our favorites when you contact us. Feel free to reach out with any questions and we will be glad to provide more information about both Apalachicola and the loft.
