We had an amazing time, the rental offers a lot of perks including games for the family, privacy, and lake side water access for the kids to swim and play around.

We are so happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay!
This is an excellent place to stay for a weekend getaway. The property manager was very nice and accommodating she even let us check in early which was great for our group. Each room had it own TV and the rooms are as advertised.. this place was perfect for us to use as we were in town for a weekend fishing tournament and could easily tie our boats up to the dock and charge them overnight. Overall a great place to stay with a fantastic manager who communicated with us from start to finish.

The property was exactly as described. We had all we needed to be comfortable and entertained. Everything was well organized. The whole family enjoyed every aspect of our time here.

Thank you for the wonderful review, and we hope to have you visit again soon!
We stayed a week with our children and grandchildren to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary and everything was fantastic. Our host was wonderful in every way and the house was perfect for our needs. It was comfortable and spotless and the fishing was great. We had everything we needed and more. We hope to return soon!

Very clean & nice recent upgrades to inside. One suggestion - more hangers in closets. We’re only 2 old metal ones in master bedroom.

Overall it was just fine.
The place was nice enough. I suppose. I do wish that the listing stated that it is a double wide ( modular home) instead of leaving that out of the description…
Long holiday weekend with friends. House had a lot of upgrades. Great communication, no issues with check in or cleanliness. Great neighbors. Easy access to lake and super nice dock. Nice little beach area that allowed us to walk into the lake and wade around.
Great for 2 to 3 couples, if one couple does not mind single beds. Says sleeps 8 and it does but the 4th bed is not large enough or accommodating for adults

We really enjoyed our stay at this lake property. Communication with the owners is easy and they are very accommodating. Property was clean and as advertised. Owners left s’more supplies for us which was a welcoming touch. The house is obviously in varying stages of being upgraded. We didn’t spend that much time indoors. The outdoor area is very nice. Disco is good, fire pit area is nice too. Grill did not work. This was primarily a fishing trip for my 15 yea or old son and my daughter drove down for one night. We would stay here again. For this type of stay. The games, including he indoor shuffleboard , we’re lots of fun

Thank you for your review! We are happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay, and we will have someone to check on the status of the grill. We look forward to your next visit.
Our large family gathering used Heron Hideaway as overflow sleeping space apart from a nearby, larger house we also rented. It provided a comfortable, quiet space for one of our group who needed to work one day. It did the same for a family with small children when the Rook and Hearts games went into the wee hours of the morning at the other house.
Rachelle was a great host to work with. She was prompt in responding to questions. One of our group had a small request; Rachelle graciously worked to provide that need. I would definitely work with her again.
Thanks to her for her part in a successful family weekend.

We are so happy that we could play a part in your family’s vacation!
The kitchen and dining areas were immaculate and well maintained. Lots of games and activities for rainy days. The dock and backyard were great for the kids, though the walk down was steeper walk than I realized. I missed having morning coffee by the lake because there's no deck so you have to go up and down the long staircase to get to the back patio. There's a view from the dining room where there use to be sliders, but the glass looks like it hasn't been cleaned all summer and there are lots of dead bugs and spiders in the outside track. Not a pretty view. We could not get used to the large wall of beaded curtains between the master bath and bedroom. No privacy. We were 6 people and there were only 4 bath towels provided. Bedrooms needed a dresser or somewhere to put away clothes and some closet space. I hope the lumber in the yard is slated for a new deck.
Overall, the house was cute, but dated. The master bath only had one sink fully functional. The master bedroom mattress needs replacing. It is banana shaped. There is no deck off the house, so sliding glass doors are permanently shut. Kids enjoyed shuffle board table and checkers. There is old broken tv in guest room that should be replaced. Itvtakes up a lot of the bedroom. In the other bedroom the xbox was notvworking. Recommend replacing that with newctv as well. Communication could have been better with owner, but appreciated use of life jackets for kayaks. With some maintenance and simple improvements, this olace could be really special.
Enjoyable property... Host is excellent with communication and assistance when needed. Very active neighbors on the creek, very safe & friendly area. Access to back yard/water is a little more challenging than expected with the long stairs leading off side. A deck would be a welcome addition off the dining area and would allow easier access to the yard and dock.
We all enjoyed the weekend and the property a lot. We would return for future rental if opportunity presents.
Thus was exactly what we needed for our recent travels to Lexington area. It was conveniently located to all the events we had to attend in the area. The view was beautiful and lodging sufficient for all our needs.
Great welcoming property to stay for tje long werkend
We enjoyed our stay great time on the water and fabolous views. Everything was set up nicely to enjoy our vacation. Kayaks, fire pit and outside dining. Our 7 year old had a blast fishing off the deck. Made great memories.

We had a great time. So relaxing lying in the sun on the beautiful dock. Kayaking at Sunset. Roasting marshmallows in the fire pit. Everything was very clean and looks just like the pictures. Definitely will stay again.

Quick family time at lake house
I believe we were one of the first to stay at this property. Nice outdoor space and it’s apparent the owners are working to renovate, but much is unfinished. Good selection of games for kids to play. Comfortable beds. With that said I was disappointed in the cleanliness of the property, so much so that we limited time there and barely prepared meals. This was unfortunate since we wanted to relax at a lake house. We made the best of it touring neighboring towns and zip lining. Check on progress of updates before booking.
