Lake cabin located on Lake Ida! Spacious home comfortably sleeps 13 with 3 bedrooms and an additional bunk area. Two bedrooms, living room, kitchen, one and a half baths, and the sunroom are located on the main floor. You can access the wrap around deck right from the kitchen, living room or sunroom. The lower level walkout has a bedroom, large family room, a full bath, and an additional space beside the family room with bunk beds, as well as a laundry room with laundry sink and an additional refrigerator. The large patio has an outdoor dining space and a gas grill.
Central heat and air, and the garage stall has storage for your gear and large yard that is almost 3/4 of an acre, that the kids can enjoy.
Our lake cabin is a comfortable retreat for single or multi generational families, and the amenities can't be beat! Enjoy sunsets from the lower level patio or the second floor deck.
Prime lakeshore with level lot and sand bottom with your own private accessible dock and boat/pontoon lift provides hours of fun, whether it's swimming, boating or fishing. Lake Ida is one of the cleanest lakes in the Alexandria area. A water slide, raft, SUP and kayaks are provided for the kids' enjoyment. As a bonus, we provide a lift that can hold a boat or pontoon!
This home has the country feel but is located minutes from the many attractions located around Alexandria. Enjoy an afternoon of wine tasting and live events at Carlos Creek Winery, 22 Northmen Brewing Co, and the Sizzle food truck, which are located a little over a mile away. If you are attending an event at Gathered Oaks, we are located within two miles. Across the lake you will find the Ida Graves Distillery. Other attractions nearby are the Central Lakes Bike Trail, Casey's Amusement Park, as well as many great dining options. Rain or shine, you can enjoy days of exploring all the consignment shops and unique stores in downtown Alexandria, as well as many weekend events, such as live music events in the lakes area.

Our family has been in the Lake Ida area for most of our lives and we have made many memories with our kids. We are partial to this lake because as a premier lake in the area, it is still largely undiscovered and fairly quiet without a lot of boat traffic. We decided to offer this property as a vacation rental so other families can make lifetime memories on Lake Ida as well!

Many lakes in the area offer either great fishing, quiet enjoyment of nature, or good swimming. Lake Ida has it all! Whether you are looking for a great lake house to host your family get together, coming to Alexandria for a wedding at one of the nearby wedding venues, wanting a quick weekend getaway, travelling for business, sports tournaments, or looking for an ideal ice fishing, swimming or snowmobiling weekend, this lake getaway provides something for all! This property truly lives up to the meaning of Alexandria's slogan, 'Easy to get to, Hard to leave".
What makes this property unique
Very quiet country setting on a private road, sunsets over the lake, loons calling at night, deer and turtles wandering across the way but located half a mile from the boat launch and about 5 minutes from amenities of Alexandria.
