About this property
#20 Gulf View, Large Pool, Walk to the beach!
Short Term Registration Number: 348437 Welcome to your beach getaway at Sea Isle Village. Start your mornings off with coffee on your deck with a beautiful view of the gulf and enjoy the sounds of the birds and waves. Terrific place to unwind after a day at the beach. We love that the condo is a short walk to the beach, it makes bathroom breaks and lunch breaks easy for a day on the beach. The kitchen is stocked with your basic cooking and eating essentials. We definitely have the morning coffee covered whether you are a drip coffee or Keurig user, just pack your favorite flavor of coffee. The blender is dandy for evening margaritas with a view! Cleaning up is easy with the dishwasher and cleaning supplies under the sink. We even have spills covered with rags provided under the sink. Enjoy your meals at the dining table with a view out to the gulf or on the balcony at the patio table. Either way it is a fabulous place to spend time with family over a bite to eat. The living room is a grand place for your family time, playing board games, cards, and puzzles that are provided on the TV stand. Kicking back with a movie on your favorite subscription service is just like at home with the large smart TV. Relaxing in bed is first-rate with smart TVs in both bedrooms. The bedroom on the left has 1 queen bed that overlooks the gulf. Nothing says vacation like lying in bed with coffee and a gulf view! The second bedroom has 2 queen beds and an on-suite bathroom with walk in shower. Need to charge your phone, plug in a CPAP machine? No problem, both bedrooms have bed side lamps with USB and outlets built in with plenty of shelving to put everything. We even have a few books for late night or beach reading. In the hall is the second bathroom with a shower/tub. Both bathrooms will have your shampoo, conditioner, lotion, and a black microfiber cloth for makeup removal. There is one hairdryer in the unit. Whether at home or at your beach condo, laundry never goes away. Throw a load in the large washer and dryer in the hall and off to the beach you go! The beach towels provided are also great to use at the large pool down the stairs and to the left of the building. Rinse off at the surfboard shower and relax by the pool in loungers or seating areas. You can bring your music, just keep it family friendly. We love that the pool is large and has a true deep end. Don't forget to do a cannon ball! There is a lot to do on the property, volleyball, basketball, pickleball, a large playground and corn hole. The closet to the right of the office has all the sports equipment needed to borrow and return. We also have several park style BBQ grills and picnic tables across the property, so don't forget your charcoal! You will find a few beach toys and boogie boards in your condo but if you need more you can borrow some from the sports closet; just don't forget to return them. Our beach walk is by buildings D & E. It has an outdoor shower and a water hose to rinse those beach toys off. The beach walk is about a football field's length to the beach at marker #3. It is sidewalk most of the way and turns into a blue mat over the dunes making it easy to pull a wagon or cooler. The walk is pedestrian traffic only, no golf carts on the walk. The walk is lighted for your evening stroll on the beach. There is plenty of parking on the property and you will have 1 assigned space and there is an overflow of parking for additional vehicles. Yes, we are in the golf cart district, and you can park the carts in the golf cart spots or in your assigned space. We even have parking for your trailer or boat in the overflow parking. The boat parking section has electricity for charging motors and water to rinse off your boat. We take care of our fishermen and women with our fish cleaning station by the overflow parking. The station has water and electricity so late-night cleaning and electric knives are perfect. Often on our Texas beaches tar comes ashore. This can be very messy and hard to clean. Please feel free to use the rags under the sink and rubbing alcohol to make cleaning up easier. When you are ready to adventure off the property anywhere in Port A is an easy walk, golf cart ride or drive from your condo. 1/2 mile from the condo is the fishing pier, golf cart beach access, restaurants, gas stations, coffee shop, boutiques, souvenir shops, surf shops, and several bars. We want all our guest to feel at home so if you need anything during your stay let us know and we will take care of it! We are easy to access either through VRBO or by stopping in the office at Sea Isle Village. We look forward to being a part of your beach memories!

Stayed at Sea Isle and Unit 20 accommodated 4 adults and 2 boys age 9. Very clean condo and had all amenities you need. Definitely would stay there again, requesting same condo.
First time staying at this location after many trips to Port A. This unit was great for us. Comfortably accomodated our family of 5. It's close enough to "downtown" for a quick golf cart trip or even a walk. Also an easy golf cart trip or walk to get to the beach. We took the cart to the beach every day, but the private pedestrian walkway is a short, straight shot to beach access. This 2nd floor unit is nice with a view towards the beach. The place was clean with up-to-date appliances and everything was in great shape. Nice little spot.
Overall this was a great condo. The location was right in the heart of town and the path down to the beach is very close. The shower on the path was so handy. We were able to shake the sand off as we walked back from the beach and rinse the remaining sand so very little got into the condo. The view is stunning. We had everything we needed.
A few suggestions I would make are:
- because the view is so beautiful, I wish the outdoor seating was better. The chairs are too short to sit out that and see over the rail. We would have sat out there in the mornings and evenings if there had been a table or taller chairs.
-the corner or the strip rug was curled up. We caught our toes on it a few times.
- it seems like the bedrooms are flipped. The primary bedroom has the double bed and the en suite. I can see the thought process- getting more beds in the bigger room but out kids would have been fine in twin beds or bunks even. And I wish we would have had the bigger bathroom.
Overall it was a great stay.
Unfortunately the condo owner decided to honor another renter’s lack of respect and disregard for condo rules from a different unit over her own guests. She lied stating that if the other renters did not move their car from our numbered parking spot within 15 mins, their car would be towed, but she did not keep her word. In her own words she stated ‘she was choosing compassion’ for the other family because their daughter got stung by a jelly fish, which is ridiculous, since their car ended up being parked there the entire night and into the next day, we left from our trip and the car was still there and she kept repeating to me that I needed to park in the unnumbered parking spots 7 feet away, clearly disregarding the fact that it wasn’t the distance that mattered, but the principal that someone else is violating the rules and she chooses to honor them and not her own guests. I won’t ever rent from someone who lies and doesn’t keep her word so I will likely rent at this general area again but not from her, no matter how nice everything else may be, I can’t deal with someone without integrity.

I am sorry you feel this way. The guest that was parked in your spot had their child in the emergency room in corpus for what we were originally were told was a jelly fish sting, we found out yesterday that she was actually barbed in the foot by a sting ray and the barb had to be removed from her foot. This is the reason why they were parked in the parking spot over night. I never lied to you, I let you know we would tow them in 15 minutes then found out they had their child in the emergency room. I let you know that they were having an emergency and that I would not tow them since the situation was out of their control. I let you know there were several spots available to park in within 7-10 feet of your parking spot and chose compassion for the family in need over towing them when they could not come to the property to move their truck. It would have been different if there were no spots open but this was not the case. I believe that showing compassion and understanding to someone in a time of need shows a lot of integrity and character about a person even when they are threated to have a bad review if I did not tow a car. The mistake I made was assuming that you would be understanding of another family in their time of need and graciously park 7 feet away.
The rental process was smooth and easy! This property was perfect for what I wanted. It was my birthday weekend and I wanted a deck with a view and walking distance to the beach. The price was great! I would stay here again! I would recommend this property!
We will definitely be back. The view, location and cleanliness of the property was perfect. We celebrated our 30th Anniversary and my husbands high school reunion. We walked on the beach and watched the stars at night. Next time we'll stay longer. Thank you so much for your attention to detail!!
We loved this condo! Everything was neat, clean and near brand new. The photo's do not do it justice. The balcony and bedroom window view of the dunes and the gulf was awesome. We spent hours just enjoying the balcony. The furnishing were nice and very comfortable. Parking was easy, right at the foot of the stairs. Overall an A+++. The only minor suggestions I would make is that the closets could have used some hangers and a couple of small trash cans in the bathrooms would be helpful. We had a great time in Port A and look forward to coming again. Thank you Tammy.
The property was very clean and appealing. The communication with the host was clear and friendly. The location is great. No complaints. I recommend it highly.
