We had a wonderful time and the place was well kept and very clean. The additional blankets and pillows came in handy with our trip lining up with a blizzard that came through.

We are so thrilled this guest had such a great stay! Ours is a difficult business and it is easy to focus on the problems, but we really appreciate when our guests take the time to let us know we got it right. We work really hard to deliver on the promise of a great vacation, and we appreciate all kinds of feedback. We hope to serve you again soon!
We had a great stay—it was a great set up for 3 adults and 2 kids. The lodge was convenient to the mountain and we were very happy to do our aki rental on site.

Property was as listed, met expectations, the view was amazing. Could have been a little cleaner in the bathroom and kitchen, but not too bad.. Enjoyed the trip.

Not good value for your money. While the apartment is ok there wasn't enough shampoo or body wash, the internet was very spotty at best and there was a funky smell. When we called to issue some of these concerns the attendant was extremely rude and condescending.
Place was perfect. Super clean!!! The only thing missing was dish soap, but communication was excellent with management company, and it was delivered immediately. Thanks for an amazing trip!

Very clean, nice unit - as advertised. Only negatives: the kitchen was poorly stocked and the kitchen and living area are not well lighted. Stayed in a similar unit with two kids several years ago and it was a little tight - for a couple it is perfect and you can't beat the location!

I will do a full kitchen inventory and make sure its properly stocked for future guests. Thanks for letting me know
It was great - location cant be beat. I do wish if they have something as simple as coffee they could have had sugar packets at least - even 3 star hotels provide coffee and cream. also one shower in main bathroom only warm water not hot.
Five Star Lodging is the worst host I’ve ever dealt with through VRBO. Very slow to communicate and uniformly unhelpful and unfriendly. House rules were absurd, with 75-100 fines for a long list of things like failing to close the window shades when you leave. The place was pretty shabby and dated for the very high price — mattresses, carpet, etc. — and one of the smaller 2 bedroom units at Juniper. I really expected better and do not recommend. In all the years I’ve rented at Juniper, whether with the resort directly or a private owner, no one has ever demanded that we return a paper parking pass at 10 am so that we couldn’t park on our last day of skiing. Luckily, the Juniper management was very nice about it. Book directly at Juniper if you want to stay there.
A very clean and comfortable condo in a great location, but no frills such as condiments in the kitchen and no private internet and only limited TV channels. (unable to stream).
Clearly the front desk wants nothing to do with vrbo and threatened to tow one car parked inthe garage. An extra parking pass would have been appreciated.

We are so sorry you were inconvenienced during your stay! We always strive to make every guest stay as perfect as possible, inspecting every property twice between every departure/arrival. Our staff are human of course, and so even if we hit 95%, that still leaves some issues from time to time for guests to contend with.
As the property manager, we are not responsible for the amount of parking allotted to each unit. This number is set by the HOA od each property. When traveling to Mammoth and staying in any vacation rental it is helpful to understand the relationship your vacation rental manager has to the property. The VR manager you book with has a contract with the owner of the individual condo, and is responsible for the studs-in portion of the condo (interior only) while the complex usually has its own maintenance staff (paid for by the Homeowner's Association) who is responsible for the studs-out (or anything exterior to the condo you booked). This means that every condo in Mammoth may be managed by different companies, and regardless of which manager you book through, none of us have any control over the neighbors, parking, or common area facilities or maintenance. When you access amenities (such as hot tubs, pools, parking, or laundry etc.) you do so as guests of the homeowner. Individual vacation rental managers have no control or information about outages, maintenance schedules, etc. When speaking with any on-site staff, please be aware they are not employees, agents, or representatives of Mammoth Five Star Lodging, unless they are in our uniform. There may be a front desk at the complex you booked, but they are a different company and will not service you, and they do not speak for us.
Thanks so much for staying with Mammoth Five Star Lodging! We hope you will think of us again for your next visit!

We did NOT enjoy the repaving of the entrance parking lot, three days of trucks, jack hammersblacktop machines, blowers, front end loaders, many more machines, chech in was horrible, no real signage that you had to go to the parking garage then the room. ALL DAY LONG noise, smells, we had to leave all day just to get away from pavingWe the host knew about the paving, we would not have come at that time, paving was finally done when we left. The back side of the place, pool, spas were great, sorry it sounds so negitive, not what we expected.Mammoth was great, Hood faith should have been givien, a refund or change to a room on backside of property. Dumptrucks. Heaving exquiipment, everything unimaginable noise 7 - 5, 6 did not mske our room right above it all fun at all, since it was a vrbo. Maybe nothing could be done to change our resetvation, nice place overall.
