Roomy 1 Bdrm House-Hi-Speed Internet-Great for Cple/Sml Family-Easy to Get About
This is a "mother-in-law" type of house built on a property where the big house is rented to long term tenants. I have furnished the house to be comfortable for my husband and I when we visit Ohio ... with a little extra sleeping space for a child or grandchild to stay with us. Hi-Speed Internet, Smart TVs and small desk with monitor provided. The bedroom has a king sized bed and a small closet. The updated bathroom (with a bidet) is located in the bedroom but has it's own door. The living room is very roomy with a small front entryway and closet. There are 2 twin beds stacked to serve as additional seating in the living room until needed. There is a kitchen and a separate dining area with seating for 6. Linens, pillows, blankets, bath towels, kitchen towels, and kitchenware, including coffee maker, microwave and toaster are all provided. There is also a small washer/dryer combo between the dining room and kitchen. Ceiling fans in all rooms except kitchen. Easy access to public transportation, shopping and freeways, but access to large country looking lot for walking dog or taking in the sunset.

The place was great! Everything is as pictured, it was clean. Even has a bidet, a good one. Close proximity to food and groceries. I had a car rental and there was enough space for me and the neighbors to get by each other in the driveway. The host messaged me at the beginning and was clearly available had I had any issues, but there were no issues to complain of. I told my boyfriend when we have to travel again to Columbus, we’re booking this place. Thank you for everything!
We stayed during a medical appointment in Ohio. The house was in a nice little neighborhood pretty close to the outpatient clinic and multiple food and grocery options! The Host was very easy to communicate with throughout the whole process.
Very adorable small house. Perfect for our stay. Close to shops, restaurants and also close to airport. Very clean and quiet. Absolutely love and will definitely want to stay again in the future.
This is our 3rd stay and will NEVER stay anywhere else. Kim has bee beyond fantastic to work with and we even stayed 3 extra days. The house is spotless and cozy. The location is great to get around and the bonus is deer in the back yard. Highly recommend!!
The property owner was prompt with communication and very accommodating. The rental covers all the basics and is close to numerous stores and dining options to suit your needs. The lawn in the back half of the property is quite large and was great for exercising my dog.
This is the 2nd year we stayed here. Kim is excellent to work with. The house is wonderful and we will never stay any where else. The bed is comfortable and it's great having a kitchen to cook in. I enjoyed seeing the deer in the yard.
Kim responded promptly to the few questions we had. We were comfortable in her home and had a great back yard to walk our dog. Nice sidewalks too for walking Merrilee. Surprisingly quiet at night and we slept well on the comfortable bed. Thanks Kim.
Pros: Felt very safe, easy access to all local activities, well stocked with supplies (less a butchers knife and cutting board :) ), owner responded quickly to any questions, felt at home.
Cons: Two beds in living room were literally like sleeping on the floor, even for my nine year old. This was resolved by sleeping on the sofa and recliner, which were comfortable enough. The worst part was that this property has fleas. Our pup was riddled with them after one evening here. Spent most of the time while there picking em off.
All that said, we would stay here again.
When we first went in there was a slight musty/moldy smell, but it wasn’t too bad. However, while we were unpacking the car my granddaughter sat down on the couch and a flea jumped on her. We went to check and a second one landed on her leg. This can happen anywhere that accepts pets; it’s an occupational hazard. The problem came when I politely told the host that we had to leave and asked her for a refund. She immediately sent me a hateful message saying that she had to investigate my “accusations and demands,” called me a liar and said that it was too late for a refund. She finally agreed to refund half my costs only. I have copies of all our correspondence to show her vitriol. I’m too old and life is too short to fight her on this. I’m sure the place will be fumigated and flea-free soon, but be careful about any complaints or issues because you will be attacked.

Would not book again.
While the host made the check in process easy, she was quick to respond to messages, this is definitely not a spot my family will personally visit again. The king size bed is definitely a comfortable bed, the frame is squeaky, and it lacks pillows, the sheets were dirty and there were no other linens found. Total pillows in house were 5, 4 were flat and had cases, one did not and again no extra linens. All of the blankets found had holes in them, but had the potential to be great.
To go along with the cleanliness of the property, there was hair left in the kitchen sink and the drain, left in the shower/shower walls. Everything was just dusty and grimy feeling. There was dead bugs on all the window seals, and articles of clothing left behind in the bedroom window seal. The house does not cool down at all, we did change the air filter, and noticed the previous one had not been changed since June of 2023, it was completely black.
This property is mentioned it’s great for a family stay, however an oversight on my part is that the property is smoke friendly and if you are not a smoking family, the smell is so overwhelming, you will leave carrying the smell with everything in you. We could not even open the cabinets without the overwhelming smell hitting us.
The water in the sinks get dangerously hot for little hands but the shower was cold water the entire time.
Overall it kept us safe.
The washer and dryer do not dry clothes despite the length of cycle ran.
We were in town for the Ohio State Mich game. Place met all our needs. While it’s small, it’s as advertised and very clean. I would definitely stay again.
This adorable older home had everything we could ask for. Our host was very accommodating and we appreciated her being so flexible with our unexpected requests.
We had everything we could need, there was even a computer station setup if needed.
We would definitely stay there again!

Heads up
We booked this house because it was available on short notice and took pets. Our complaint was that it is a smoking allowed house and the smoke smell was quite pervasive. This was listed among the rules which in our haste to book we failed to read. The house is fine for people who smoke.
We had stayed here last year so were willing to return this year for our Christmas week with family. The temps dropped to minus 4 degrees, but we were warm and cozy in this perfect little home away from home. We will stay hear again.
