About this property

Cozy and Spacious Lodge Available for Winter Getaway to Door County

Escape to Door County and enjoy a stay with your family and friends in our warm and welcoming home. Timber Hill Lodge is nestled at the top of a long driveway among acres of woods, providing privacy and comfort. Located just north of Sturgeon Bay on Bay Shore Drive, all the activities available in Door County are just a short drive away.

Step inside and walk into the warm and inviting Great Room with vaulted ceilings, beautiful tiger wood flooring, cedar walls and floor to ceiling windows. A brand new well appointed kitchen with stainless steel appliances and an island with counter seating is part of an open floor plan that extends into the dining and living areas. Comfortable seating flanking a floor to ceiling wood-burning stone fireplace, a large screen TV and a cabinet full of games in the living area, provides the perfect place for your multi-generational family to relax after a day in the sun!

A beautiful staircase leads to two open sitting areas with ample seating on the L-shaped couch and comfortable chairs where guests can enjoy their morning coffee enveloped by the sounds and sights of the great outdoors. A large open area in this room provides the perfect space to chill after a busy day or spread out for rainy day fun with board games and crafts. A ping pong table and fuseball table await your group in the heated and airconditioned garage.

Just off the sitting area is the Primary Bedroom Suite with a king size bed, a new en-suite bathroom with slate floors and walk-in shower, and a spacious outdoor balcony.

On the other side of the balcony, you will find a large suite with two queen size beds, new wall to wall carpeting and a full bathroom with a walk-in shower. Follow the stairs down to the first floor to the back entryway equipped with a washer/dryer. Continuing down the hall you will find two bedrooms, one with a queen size bed and the second one with two bunk beds, and a new full bathroom with a tub/shower combination.

Return to the Great Room and open the sliding glass doors to the large deck where you are greeted by a scene reminiscent of overnight camp. The scene includes an open space to set up the badminton net or cornhole, a fire pit surrounded by three wooden benches and a picnic table. A new gas grill provides this scene with the one touch of convenience that makes dinner preparation easy. Conclude your evening roasting marshmallows, enjoying s’mores and sharing stories around a good old fashioned campfire.

While you may be tempted to spend your time enjoying the peace and quiet of Timber Hill Lodge, don’t miss out on all that Door County has to offer. Starting with the Town of Sturgeon Bay, heading north, both sides of the peninsula are dotted with villages along the waterfront, each with its own charm and appeal. Soak up the sun at any of the 53 public beaches; bike, run or hike through one of the hundreds of trails and parks; visit one of 11 historic lighthouses; watch artists at work in their galleries; create your own art project at Hands On Art Studio; enjoy evening entertainment under the stars at the outdoor theatres or drive in movie theatre; sample locally made wine and spirits at one of the nearby Door County’s vineyards or distilleries; reserve your spot for Door County’s famous fish boils or enjoy many fabulous restaurants located throughout the peninsula…..the list goes on and on.

Additional amenities provided at Timber Hill Lodge include fresh linens and bath towels; plenty of blankets and pillows; blow dryers; laundry room; small kitchen appliances including blender, toaster, coffee grinder, and coffee maker with filters; serving platters and bowls; indoor and outdoor dinnerware and more.

Don’t miss out on booking this fantastic vacation home. Seven Day minimum rental for prime summer weeks. Short stays available off season. No pets/no exceptions.

Welcome to Door County and to Timber Hill Lodge!

Weekend Get Away
The house was amazing and the host left some nice local gifts for us. Loved the kitchen and great spot not too far from downtown Sturgeon Bay to enjoy the nature and the Main Streets

Beautiful Home with a Terrific Layout for Families
The home is absolutely beautiful. It was perfect for our vacation, my husband and I, my daughter and her husband and their two children, ages five and two. The house layout is perfect for two families. In essence, we had two different wings of the house, one for each family. My husband and I shared what I would consider the Master Suite, and we enjoyed our own sitting room. The owner, Brenda, is great about communication. We didn’t have any problems during our week in Sturgeon Bay, but my daughter left a load of laundry in the dryer upon departure and she phoned the owner and they immediately arranged for the laundry to be mailed. My daughter is already talking about returning to Sturgeon Bay next summer. All of us enjoyed our week so much!

Welcome to the lodge!
The lodge was awesome, so warm and inviting. It was one of the hardest places to leave as it was so family friendly and so comfortable. One of the nicest VRBO homes we have stayed in.

Beautiful house in Sturgeon Bay.
Andrew and Brenda were easy to deal with, and their house is spacious, well-appointed, easy to cook in and very comfortable. We wanted somewhere we could all be together in comfort, and this house really fit the bill. We had a wonderful time.
