Relax with the whole family in this peaceful 5 bedroom 4 1/2 bath home right on the beach.
Beautiful views on the deck and from inside this very open light filled home with tons of windows. Beautifully decorated. Comfortable with everything you need. Beds made. Towels provided. Well stocked kitchen for 16 with even 2 crockpots. Game room upstairs with Foosball table, arcade game and large TV. Very open living, dining, and kitchen area that is great for hanging out with family or friends while cooking together, watching a movie or the big game, or playing games after a long day at the beach. Grill, picnic table, and outdoor showers on the patio downstairs. And just in case the electricity goes out, the home is equipped with a full house generator to ensure that power outages won't disrupt your vacation. All this, directly on the beach!

There’s so much to do in Crystal Beach! Crabbing, surf fishing, gulf fishing, bay fishing, , making a sand castle, flying a kite, playing beach games, jumping the waves, collecting shells, collecting sea glass, collecting shark teeth, bird watching, cooking out, enjoying the sunsets, enjoying the sunrise, soaking up the sun, walking on the beach, riding a golf cart on the beach, attending concerts on the beach, taking the ferry into Galveston and feeding the seagulls and seeing the dolphins, eating great seafood, reading a great book, just relaxing and visiting with friends and family!

Quiet before Cruise

This beautiful beach house was perfect for our 2-day stayover prior to our Mexico cruise. Plenty of space for the kids (8,9,10,14) and 6 grown-ups to spread out and SO many great shells on the beach. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Great place for a quieter stay on the beach. Fabulous home with everything you need. Crystal Beach isn’t the happening place to be, and that’s just perfect for those who want a nice relaxing beach vacation.

Stayed here with my family of 15 for my 60th bday. Check in/out was easy. Host is quick to respond to questions. Location is awesome! Waking up to the beach view was fantastic. Beds are comfortable, house is clean & has everything you need in the kitchen. You don’t feel crowded even with a big group like we had. Love this place and plan on staying here again in the future.

Great getaway with lots of space!

Very comfortable stay and loved the unobstructed waterfront view from the balcony! It was also great that almost every bedroom had their own restroom (3 of the bedrooms did) and then plenty of space for adults and kids/teens. The arcade game didn’t work and there was a leak in one of the half baths but it didn’t impede our stay and the owner communicated with us quickly. Overall, great place and we were very comfortable there for a few days!

Wonderful Beach House!

We had a wonderful stay at this well appointed beach house. We stay at Crystal Beach every summer and this house has just become our favorite spot. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed, the house worked great for our family, and the location and ease to get to the beach can’t be beat! We’ll be back!

Love This House

The house was absolutely beautiful, with a perfect floor plan that suited our family perfectly. Everyone agreed this was one of our favorite family get-togethers, thanks to the spacious layout and ideal location. We have a few chefs in the family, and they loved cooking in the well-equipped kitchen. Everything was just right—we left feeling refreshed, relaxed, and already looking forward to coming back.

We had an Amazing time, with our family, this place has everything you need to make your stay, amazing. The 2025 Daughters of Sarah Women’s Retreat was truly unforgettable. Before we could refill our cups, God began the release — even as the women arrived, the breathtaking views lifted the weight of everyday life. By the end, we gathered at the water, using the beach as an altar to leave everything before God. The peaceful beauty of this place made space for healing, release, and renewal. , Fully Stocked kitchen , plates , pots and pans .

Awesome Labor Day Weekend

I decided to spend my 40th with friends and family at the beach and found this beautiful location on VRBO. Communication was great with owner, location was perfect to beach / beach access, view was gorgeous, and house was stunning and well taken care of. Couldn’t have asked for a better 40th and will definitely book here again.

Beautiful property thats close to the beach. The owner is very nice and responsive. The only slight nuisance was that the internet was down, but we just used our hotspot. Loved the place though, will definitively go there again!

Graduation celebration

The pictures don’t do this house justice. Beds were really comfortable and really plenty of room with the 2 bunk rooms. Great beach view and Eve had so many great suggestions on what to do in Crystal Beach. We had a fabulous time!

We have been married almost 30 years and have 4 children, 24, 22, 20 and 15. We are from Shreveport, but my husband John grew up in Texas and is Texan through and through! Crystal Beach was the perfect place for us to buy a vacation property...great fishing for John, great beach and views for me, and great restaurants in Crystal Beach and Galveston for both of us. Our children are always excited to go to the beach and it's easy to get our older children to take time out of their schedule to meet us there and even bring a few friends. I hope you enjoy Summer Wind as much as we do!

Why they chose this property

It has a beautiful view! And is on a quieter part of the beach. There is always room on the beach in front of the house. You are right on the beach and have direct access; however, you have a big enough yard to block any beach noise.

What makes this property unique

The view is spectacular! Also, the layout is great for trips with multiple families or trips with extended family. Makes a trip with groups of families very comfortable. There are essentially 3 master bedrooms - bedrooms with their own private bath. And then there are 2 bedrooms with 4 beds each (2 sets of bunks each) for the kids. There's 2 living areas - 1 for the kids upstairs and 1 for the adults and family downstairs. The kitchen is open to the family room allowing a great space for cooking, watching a movie, playing games and just all hanging out together after a day at the beach.
