Everything about our stay was perfect. Instructions and communications prior to our arrival were complete and clear. Check-in was a breeze. Beautiful home, very clean with well-appointed kitchen. Quiet neighborhood. When you stay here you’re only a short drive from all the Keweenaw has to offer.
We enjoyed this property - it was perfect for our family. Lots of room to move around and everything was clean and ready for us when we arrived. Enjoyed my morning coffee on the front porch every day!
The house was great for what we were doing, in the middle of Mt Ripley for the younger skiers and Mt Bohemia for the experienced skiers. It also had everything we needed to make our stay very comfortable. We really enjoyed it and would definetly return.
We all loved this beautiful home. It was so spacious, beautifully decorated, comfortable and clean. Centrally located for the Keweenaw. David has a notebook of ideas, that we found very helpful. Hope to go back someday.
A lovely homey feel with everything we could have wanted
The house and our experience there was far better than we'd ever expected. The owners went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed for the week we were there, and though we never talked to them in person, we had no need to contact them since they'd thought of everything!
Nice quiet neighborhood and close to Glacia, Slim's, and Mohawk Superette where you can get the best pasties in the Keweenaw.
This house is comfortable and full of charm! I am absolutely in love with it! We felt completely at home here with everything we could have possibly needed. It’s in a quiet neighborhood with lots of sights to see just a short distance away. This was our first time in the Keweenaw Peninsula, and were blown away with the beauty of the area and the fascinating history of the towns and the copper mines!
The host provides a very detailed binder of information and attractions which was incredibly helpful.
I can’t say enough about this wonderful place, it was less like a rental and more like staying with at the house of a friend!
We had a great stay, large and beautiful home in a quiet neighborhood. Driveway parking and easy access to the front door. Great place for mutilole adventures depending which way you want to go. We loved it and everything was handy, bonus of a few beautiful sunsets on the back porch!
Great older clean house with lots of charm. House was located in great location to see everything the U.P. has to offer. Host was very helpful and responded quickly to questions. Very reasonable rate for such a spacious home. Highly recommended.
We loved this house and will definitely be back! Its spacious and comfortable. The property overlooks a field and beyond that woods in the back. There is a lovely sunroom and I loved sitting having my morning tea in the sunshine looking out at the natural setting. Very comfortable for our family of 5. The owners were very responsive and the neighbors were so friendly.
This is our second stay at this house and it's a beautiful place with plenty of room for the five of us. Books and games and a big back yard facing woods for privacy. Wavy and stained glass windows for charm. An enclosed porch with wicker furniture and an old fashioned porch swing. Great kitchen with a table and chairs, plus a big dining room. The half bath at the main level is nice to have, since the main bath is upstairs, as are all three bedrooms. Washer and dryer in the basement. Everything you could ask for, all done tastefully and with much thought. Love it!
Cutest country stay with creeky wood floors, arched entryways, and a peaceful feel. This house also has the BEST breeze with all the windows open in the evening. I recommend stepping outside to the backyard on a clear night to see an amazing display of stars and keeping your bedroom window opened to hear coyotes howling as you lay in bed. The location was close to so many waterfalls, beaches and hiking trails. This was a great getaway for us!
The home was very clean and had all we needed. We especially appreciate an extra 1/2 bath. The one full bathroom was large with plenty of hooks for the plush towels. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped with a Keurig and dishwasher. We had a great stay and would definitely choose this property again if in the area.
