All major holidays, spring break will be charged at peak rate.

This one-story house is perfect for family vacations that include small children and seniors – “no stairs to climb”! Located just off River Road, and minutes from the Frio River. Comfortable outdoor setting with stone patio, picnic tables, BBQ pit, horseshoes, outdoor fire pit, and of course, the spacious safety fenced POOL! Beautiful oak trees provide ample shade for hot summer days. The outdoor “hacienda” style entry for bedrooms 3 & 4. These bedrooms both have private baths (showers) and 2 queen beds, each sleeping 4. Conveniently located near the swimming pool, there is a half bath located from the outdoor patio area.
Fully furnished kitchen with most basic kitchen needs (pots/pans, plates, glassware, silverware, cooking utensils) microwave, dishwasher; Central Air/Heat; stackable washer/dryer; flat screen Satellite TV/DVD; outdoor BBQ; picnic tables; extra outdoor seating; outdoor fire ring; outdoor horseshoe pit, and a beautiful swimming pool convenient for your family and friends! PARK VIEW has huge native oaks that provide wonderful shade for your outdoor entertainment.

To help keep the cost of your rental down, we do offer our guests the option to bring their own Linens and Towels. We do offer the option to rent them at an extra cost. If you want to rent linens and towels for your stay, please allow us 3 weeks' notice before arrival. Make note that we do have a limited supply and cannot guarantee we will have lines and towels readily available.

What to Bring.
LINENS: Bring linens and pillowcases, pillows, blanket/bedspread are provided.
TOWELS: Bath towels, washcloths, kitchen towels and pool towels.
CHAIRS: Bring folding or sack chairs to take to the river. The chairs at the rental should not be removed from the property.
PAPER GOODS: Paper towels, toilet paper, napkins, paper plates, plastic cups, plastic ware.
SOAP: Dishwashing, laundry and hygiene products
BBQ: There are BBQ cooking utensils, but remember to bring charcoal/lighter/matches.
Your kitchen is complete with dinnerware, silverware, glasses, basic cookware, coffee pot, microwave, pots & pans.

We provide:

The Gutierrez Getaway

Frio Family Tradition 2024

The house was very cabin like and having the outside rooms with individual bathrooms and pool side bathroom made it perfect for our family. There was something for all the ages from the beautiful peaceful view and wildlife, horseshoes, and the pool if we were not at the river everyone enjoyed themselves. We loved it!

The separate private rooms were a plus when the younger kids needed to go to bed so the adults could have some time at night. I do wish the stove worked better. The oven was fine, but the stove top needs repair as several burners were not working properly and made cooking a little difficult. Other than that, we would stay here again!

We did stay the weekend of the flood. The ceiling leaked i the main bathroom of which we let them know. The rain was terrible and it was not due to any neglect on their end I can assure. The only thing that I wish was different was, there was no call to us about the rising river. We only recieved the National Weather Service alerts. I feel that an alert from the office should be implemented as a call and a text message both. However, they can not control the weather and our stay other than that was excellent. Thank you! We will be back!

It felt like a cozy cabin but with enough room for all of us. We were a party of 11. We loved going outside in the mornings watching the does from across the street eat from their feeder. We were so happy to finally be out from the city and just enjoy nature. We had an enjoyable stay! I definately recommend it and I will definately be returning!
