The front unit features a 1BA/2BD layout with a new washer and dryer, a modern kitchen, three double beds, one single bed, a living room with a fireplace, a porch, and two single beds, with additional beds available upon request. Please bring your cookware or rent a disinfected set from us for $20. Consider bringing earplugs as there have been occasional noise incidents from guests in the front unit. The entire town was great. The marina staff took us to the rental and then dropped us off at Diver Down for dinner and drinks.

Great stay!

Very happy with our stay. We have stayed here 2 years in a row now for Thanksgiving. Host is very accommodating and friendly. The house is perfect for my family. Looking forward to staying here again next year.

Description of property was misleading

This was supposed to be 1 night stay. When we were booking this property the title of the listing was "Unity House South," the description did not mention "unit," and it popped up when we filtered our search by "house." I had to call a day before to confirm check in instructions as we have not received them 24 hours in advance as expected. A lovely lady figured it out for us and we got the check in info. She also said she was the one that cleans the property. When we arrived we expexted to stay at a house by ourselves, with our dog, and not an appartment. There was another person in another section of the house and a car parked by the grill/fire pit area. We did not stay for the night as it was not what we expected and felt uncomfortable sharing property with a stranger. When we called the property manager she said they could accomodate another space at their lodge but would not wave $50 pet fee because they did not see our situation as inconvenient. We found a lovely hotel room somewhere else, with no pet fee. We contacted Vrbo for a refund and since then it looks like they added the word "unit" to the description but the title still includes the word "house" and still pops up in the search when filtered by "house." The unit was clean and very spacious, we just didn't expect to share it. Unfortunate miscommunication situation.

Disappointed

The mattresses were horrible, beds set up like a boot camp. No furniture. Poor water pressure. We had no idea on how to work the TV. Other than that, it was clean with nice appliances. Do not text the owner because they dont reply back. And we had to take the garbage to the road on garbage day and return the garbage cans. Oh and they scheduled an appliance service person to come in during our stay. We checked out a day early

Our stay

If you are wanting a spacious place, this is definitely the place. Plenty of room for the whole family. Although our stay was short, we enjoyed the visit. Check in was a breeze and the host was great.

But we were shocked to see that you filed a chargeback with your credit card 21 days after your checkout date. We waived the incidental charges for the towels being ruined after your stay. But the chargeback was disputed because you and your family did stay with us. Please let us know if there was any misunderstanding and how we can improve to earn five stars. Many thanks!
