About this property

Our home is located right on the Straits of Mackinac. With scenic views of Mackinac Island, the Mackinac Bridge and the freighters passing, it is the most relaxing getaway. We are located just over a mile away from one of the ferry lines that take you to Mackinac Island and walking distance from the Lumber Jack show. We are right on the water so you have your own beach. The house also come with free access to a local waterpark and discounts to local restaurants.

Not satisfactory

Tons of deferred maintenance. Burned out lightbulbs, main entrance to house through the garage with lightbulb out over steps, light above sink in main bath didn’t work. Hot and cold water was reversed in half bath. Vertical blinds at patio door half busted out. No towel bar in half bath. Washer in half bath kept door from closing, 12 inch gap. Bad rust stain in bathtub from leaky faucet. Exterior photo was not sent to us even though we asked for it prior to arrival.

Beds were slept in and house was not cleaned

We walked in and found that the beds were not made, dirty laundry left lying around, stove was disgusting, moldy bread still in the cupboard & dirty Kleenex laying around.
