About this property
Full Site Woodland Glamping Rental near 3 of NY's Finger Lakes for 14+
On this enchanting 30-acre woodland property, framing a peaceful koi pond, and off the beaten path, lies six (6) boutique platform tents, boasting king- or queen-size beds, furnished sitting areas, themed decor, and front-porch views of the pond and woods. At the edge of the tree line, our open-air Dining Pavilion has multiple comfortable tables w/ chairs and additional benches or hanging swing seats where a shared, communal camp kitchen with all the basics is available. Along the edge of the shoreline, guests will also find a beautiful brick fire pit, framed by wooden Adirondack chairs, where the nightly community bonfire is lit, and your hosts bring a Gourmet S'mores box with an array of campfire treats to enjoy.
Several of the safari tents (sized at 15x20x12 or larger) can sleep additional glampers beyond the traditional two guests, making them the perfect getaway to share with family or friends. Linens and towels are provided at each Glamping Tent, which also comes with its own eco-friendly solar shower and private privy (toilet), along with a private picnic table, BBQ grill and grilling tools (total of 6 solar showers, 5 porta-potties and an eco-sustainable "green" bathroom trailer with two toilets each for "Bucks" and "Does" a few steps from our Savannah tent and the Dining Pavilion.)
Outdoors, guests will find groomed walking trails, pedal boats to enjoy on the pond, and plenty of natural beauty to take in and restful ambience to refresh the soul. As Water to Wine Glampground is centrally located between three of the Finger Lakes (approx. 6 miles from Canandaigua Lake, 10 miles from Keuka Lake and 12 miles from Seneca Lake), just a short drive away you can find Finger Lakes wineries, breweries, distilleries, hiking trails, waterfalls, parks and outdoor venues, farm and craft markets such as the Windmill, and plenty of local farm stands boasting fresh fruit and produce.
The CMAC open-air concert venue is a short, 10-minute drive north of our glampground property, with no stoplights between here and there! (Transportation to and from CMAC is available, by request and in advance.) Additional upgrades such as our Kids' Cot and Pond Package or meal catering options are also available by request and in advance - just check with your superhost, Rainey, for more info.
While your glamping experience will definitely feel pampering, we encourage you to come with a spirit of adventure as you will still be off-grid, off-the-beaten-path and "unplugged," so you can truly rest and relax at Water to Wine.

About the host
Hosted by Rainey Jones

Hi there! I’m Rainey, a wife, and mother of nine, with three of the kids married, and eight grandchildren so far! I’ve always been an entrepreneur and in a previous chapter of life, did a lot of catering as well. I have a gift for hospitality, and I love to cook, decorate, and make people feel welcome, especially around my family’s table.
Since 2018, I’ve built a reputation as a short-term rental superhost, offering tent and breakfast accommodations at my family’s Glampground property where we offer multiple Safari platform tents, a popular yurt, and a hot, homemade, locally sourced breakfast on a beautiful woodland site surrounding a quiet pond. Our guests repeatedly tell us “there’s something about this place – it’s almost magical!”
In 2020, we built an open-air pavilion to further develop my breakfast and mealtime offerings. I also operate two additional rental homes (Rainey’s Rooms) in the nearby village of 600 where I have lived with my family for 30-plus years in the Finger Lakes region of upstate New York.
I invite you to enjoy your getaway here at Water to Wine!

Why they chose this property
My husband and I bought our camp when our children were young, the kids grew up there. Between frog catching contests, paddle boats, picnics, dirt biking, bonfires, camp outs, and the occasional wedding it was our special getaway. Now that the kids are growing up and going out on adventures of their own, I decided it's time we share our little piece of heaven with others. So, here we are, meeting new people from all over the world, making new connections, and enjoying the opportunity to share what we were blessed with.
What makes this property unique
30-acre private woodland site, surrounding a quiet, peaceful koi pond. Open-air Dining Pavilion where our homemade, locally sourced breakfasts are served. Community Campfire tradition with Gourmet S'mores, and a unique glamping getaway in a tent where you'll feel pampered and long to return for another visit. What's not to love?
