Got Scammed

Was looking for a rental home to stay in with my husband and newborn daughter while we awaited the legal clearances to return home as required by adoption protocols. Host appeared to be professional and congratulatory, but never sent code for entry after multiple outreach attempts the day before and the day of check-in. I drove by the home, and a vehicle was in the driveway. The phone number listed as a contact was not able to connect to the seller....Thankfully, VRBO refunded all expenses.

Thank you. Some constructive criticism would have been nice. I sent you not only the code but an app that let's you in the door. I don't know why it didn't work. You were my 1st VRBO guest, and I tried to accommodate you by not only returning $50 for the inconvenience but also offered you free food delivery. Vrbo doesn't include room service but I did respond to you when I saw your message. Based on the liquor bottles, beer, trash, blunt guts, and weed roaches left behind, it looked to me like you enjoyed the stay to be so outright rude and critical of a mistake that was probably user error. Nothing better than a crab in the bucket.
