Immaculate, freshly painted and decorated to make you feel welcome, relaxed and comfortable. Fully equipped kitchen allows one to prepare meals if one wishes. The bedroom has a queen size bed, fresh crisp white linen. You are provided with laundry detergent, a washer and dryer, air conditioning and ceiling fan. The bathroom is equipped with a rain shower, white towels, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and soap. A small deck below offers a view of the bay, incoming fishing boats and colorful sunsets.

Fabulous

The apartment is beautiful, comfortable and very well maintained. It has everything you could need, including a fully equipped kitchen. The location is convenient to the park and Cheticamp shops and restaurants. You couldn’t ask for a better place or better hosts. Highly recommended.

The Blue Pearl

Great stay! The apartment was perfect- very clean and very well appointed. Fully stocked kitchen with great cutting knives and utensils. Small deck by the harbor that was great for an afternoon cocktail.

On the water in Cheticamp

Excellent location and cozy with a comfortable living room and kitchen. Very well decorated in beach-cottage stylings. Washer/dryer was a huge plus. Check in and out was a breeze. There is some noise from the road if you open windows but that didn’t bother me, and it was worth being centrally located.

Relaxing and homey

The Blue Pearl is located along the Cabot Trail providing easy access to the National Park and all it's hiking trails. We had easy walking distances to many restaurants and conveniences but the best part was the comfort of the Blue Pearl whether inside or outside on the quaint, private deck. Woverlooking the marina.

Our stay was just perfect. Everything was very well thought out. Very comfy, very clean, great tv and shower. Perfect location to check out anything and everything along the Cabot trail. Our host were very nice and so helpful. Definitely would book again!

Ideal spot for visiting Cape Breton area

We absolutely loved our stay at the Blue Pearl! The apartment is well maintained. Kitchen has everything you need to prepare a meal. Easy walk to a few restaurants. Note that it is right on the street, but the noise level was not a problem. The owners are wonderful (they live on the property) and very helpful. If we ever go back to that area, we'll definitely want to stay here.

A fantastic & beautiful stay.

Amazing property! Spotless, comfortable, & well-appointed. Sandra & Roland are very passionate about this stunning locale, and it shows. The sweet little patio with chairs facing the sunset is something to behold. An extra special delight is Sandra’s beautiful art depicting the beauty of this wonderful Island. Wonderful vacation!

My husband and I enjoyed our time in Cheticamp, in spite of having a tooth infection! The Blue Pearl was exactly as described. I loved meeting Sandra and Roland. We were greeted with a banana bread and that was just the beginning of how great of hosts they were. I am hoping to return for many years to come!

Beautiful and charming!

The property is exactly as advertised, homey and comfortable. The bed is very comfortable, best one of our trip. The kitchen has everything we needed to make meals. It just felt like a home away from home. The location is ideal, very close to the park, the water and the few key shops that we needed, groceries, Rx, etc. Perfect spot. We would definitely stay here again if we were lucky enough to come back. Finally, we really loved the artwork, done by the owner,. We also saw it sold at Freya and Thor down the road. She's very talented! Thanks for a lovely stay.

The blue pearl is a wonderful property centrally located in Cheticamp. Easily accessible to the park. It has all the amenities that you could want. We were even met with muffins on our arrival which hit the spot after a long trip. The kitchen is fully equipped. Just top notch!

Great Time in Cheticamp

We would HIGHLY recommend staying here. Place was immaculate and has everything you would need for a stay. Lots of nice touches - ex: fresh pastries upon arrival, beautiful artwork and tastefully decorated. Sandra is a wonderful host. Centrally located in Cheticamp - walking distance to dining/shopping. Nice outside space overlooking harbor. Right down the road from the National Park. We couldn't have asked for anything more.

Blue Pearl Continues To Impress

We chose this property based upon prior guests stellar reviews and were not disappointed. The apartment was spotless, very nicely furnished, just the right size and the kitchen was fully stocked with lots of dishware, utensils, pots and pans, etc. We also liked the ability to walk to several shops and restaurants. Sandra and Roland clearly care about ensuring that their guests have the best lodging experience possible and quickly responded to the few questions we had upon arrival. The Blue Pearl wea a great location for our visit to Cape Breton Highlands National Park. We had a lovely time at the Blue Pearl. The apartment was well furnished. Very cozy. The kitchen had everything for meal preparation. Clean and everything looked new. Sandra's artwork throughout the apartment was a great touch. It was nice to visit with Sandra and Roland. Simply Fabulous

Stayed at the Blue Pearl as our base for motorcycling around the Cabot Trail. The property is perfectly located on the Cheticamp harbour and is perfect for a couple who like to explore. Sandra and Roland are wonderful hosts and have created a comfortable place to spend time in. We will not forget their hospitality any time soon, Plenty of restaurant options as well as a great Co-op grocery store that has everything you need to stay in if you desire. They are right on the Cabot Trail with access to many hiking trails, whale watching excursions and spectacular views a short ride away. Thank you both for making our trip so much fun.

My dream was to return to Cheticamp Nova Scotia after spending years moving to different places with my husband Roland who was a military man. I am now where I want to be, by the ocean in my hometown. I love my village, the people and most of all the beauty that surrounds me.

Why they chose this property

This property is on the main street, but has a waterfront. One can walk to restaurants, bank, pubs, museums and of course to Le Portage Golf Course. The beautiful Cabot Trail is but a 10 minute drive and one can never be disappointed to be at this location.

What makes this property unique

Being downtown gives you the advantage of meeting local Acadians, going to a local restaurant or pub to eat and listen to local music, enjoy a glass of Nova Scotia wine, or beer without having to worry about driving.
