Enjoy this gorgeous designer basement apartment in the heart of vibrant Downtown Silver Spring. With over 150 restaurants, entertainment ranging from outdoor ice skating to historical architecture to live music and family festivals, there is always plenty for everyone.
Walk to metro, bus, marc train,local breweries, shopping, Whole Foods, movie theater, parks, restaurants, AFI Silver Theatre & Cultural Center, The Fillmore, Silver Spring Library, Veterans Plaza, and more!

The space

Fully renovated, clean, bright, and spacious. Full kitchen, bathroom, washer/dryer, private entrance, reading nook / den.

Parking is easy in front of the house, virtual permit issued.

Feel free to enjoy our backyard, fire pit, grill, and patio.

Other things to note
Ducts may cause you to duck!
Wooden slats by the kitchen cover air ducts. They add an architecture feature but if you are over 5'10, you may have to duck.

Though fully private and independent, we do live above so you may hear pitter patter from our little one. We of course honor quiet times from 10pm - 6 am but let us know and we can always adjust.

Great little apartment

Very nice location. It was very close to everything we needed. 10 min walk to the metro. It was the perfect location for my family to stay as we toured Washington DC. Owner was great on communication and very helpful in answering all of our questions about the area. Thank you, highly recommend to anyone looking to stay near the DC area.

Great Stay

Everything was just as described! Everything you would possible need was already there and waiting. There were some reviews about the noise from upstairs but we never noticed anything except for a very minor footstep here or there. We experience more noise in a hotel room than what they produce from upstairs! Any communication with the owner was quick and helpful. We would definitely recommend staying here to anyone!

Great Experience

My wife and I stayed at the property and found it to be just as is described in the description. The apartment was spacious, well appointed, and very clean. The owner was very quick to respond to any questions I had and was extremely accommodating. As is clearly described in the listing the family lives above and we heard them walking around occasionally, but by no means did it detract from the experience. The neighborhood was quaint and quiet and many shops and restaurants were within walking distance. I would stay here again if future travels brought me to the Silver Spring area.
