We have stayed here before, so had to book again! Love this cabin and all the bears! It’s perfect for family getaways! And the view, sunset and sunrise is beautiful. Definitely need to be a morning person with the sun rising right into the primary bedroom!

We were in town for my son’s wedding. The cabin was very easy to find. The host is awesome and answered any questions we had. The cabin was well appointed and very clean. The decorations were so cute. We will definitely come back one day.

We absolutely loved our stay and can’t wait to be back! Deborah was a joy to work with and Dancing Bears is the cutest little place to get away and recharge. We especially loved relaxing in the hot tub and enjoying the pretty view.

We enjoyed our stay at Dancing Bears. The home is well appointed and comfortable. I had concerns about driving my Altima up the steep gravel road but we made it! The road is a difficult to navigate at night, but after you go up it a couple of times you figure out the areas to avoid. The hot tub was a major plus!!

everything here was incredible - it was clean, there were many amenities, check-in and out were smooth and efficient. the cabin is great, with three comfortable beds. the road leading to the house is gravel and one lane, but we didn't run into any problems with any cars coming in the opposite direction; just something to be aware of!

Beautiful Views

Dancing Bears was a wonderful place to stay. The view is spectacular. The place is clean and well stocked with games, kitchen equipment. This was our second year staying here.

After honeymooning in W Jefferson 16+ yrs ago, we've been coming back ever since for our tree. Best accomodations yet! Well apportioned enough for holiday baking!

Family trip

We came to the mountains for a little bit of hiking, some rafting, and shopping. All tasks were accomplished by having a good relaxing place to come back to at the end of the day. The house has great views and is very comfortable.

Great location for my niece’s wedding at The Barn venue. My son, his wife, and their son had the downstairs and it was a perfect fit for them with us upstairs. Would highly recommend it. Clean with nice amenities. Close to downtown West Jefferson.

Outback Vibes

Awesome cottage. Plenty of space and all the modern conveniences in a rustic looking cabin. You might want to ha e 4WD if there is rain, since dirt roads to get there are a little treacherous. But is definitely worth the adventure.

I do not want future guests to get the wrong idea. Regardless of which direction you travel around the lake to get to our home, the roads are maintained crush and run gravel. Of course torrential rains can be problematic no matter what vehicle you are on. The only time you need 4 wheel drive is when it snows with ice. Most of our guests drive 2 wheel drive, including sometimes ourselves. I realize you had guests on a motorcycle, however, many of our guests want to do some mountain biking. My husband is a pro at thar and loves to share his insights when you tell us in advance.

Daughter’s Wedding a Wonderful Success. Great Place.

Loved the place. So cute. Everything was amazing. We just didn’t realize there were no doors on the master bedroom. That would have been nice. But overall amazing. Unbelievable views!!!!

FANTASTIC owner

The only hiccup the entire stay had NOTHING to do with owner but she immediately went out of her way to help correct it and within five minutes even that was taken care of. Truly amazing views and the area is perfect. Thank you for a wonderful anniversary from both of us.

2023 Girls Trip

The listing for this property doesn't do it justice! So nice, so clean... the space was perfect for 4-5 friends. The hot tub was very nice and we spent a lot of time doing crafts at the downstairs table. The view was beautiful at sunset and we had everything we needed. Deborah was so nice and helpful! The property was only about 10 minutes from Walmart too, so we were able to go get snacks! Loved our stay!
