This was our fourth summer at the cabin, and we had an absolutely wonderful long weekend. The cabin is very clean and comfortable. The location is perfect for river rafting. We look forward to coming back next year.

We really enjoyed our stay. Beautiful view of the river across the street. The cabin was nice and clean. It is definitely located in the woods. Not a whole lot of traffic. Nice and quiet. We got to experience cool, wet weather and sunny warm weather.When we got there, we had to make our own beds. We thought that was odd because other cabins we have stayed at, the beds were already made. Also, the first 4 days, the fireplace would not light. Steve did have someone come out and fix it when we notified him.Although this cabin is located in the woods, it is close to a lot of attractions around the Boone area. Todd is definitely a quiet little community with friendly people. You can enjoy music at Todd Mercantile on Friday nights.

Great location, offering a nice, quiet experience. It’s directly across the street from the river, which is nice to listen to in the morning while drinking coffee on the porch. You do have to make your own bed(s) when you arrive, which I thought was odd as that hasn’t been the case at other places we’ve stayed. I also feel like it’s missing some minor touch details, like extra paper towels, zip lock bags, maybe some K-cups. Overall, I would probably rate it 4.5, but did want to rate a 4.0 as that would be too low.
