Little House in Jasper

Charming 3 Bedroom 2 Bath home located 1 mile from downtown Jasper GA and within 10 minutes of major highways, shopping and restaurants. The home is 1,200 sq ft ranch with no steps inside the home. There are a couple of steps leading to the front door.

Self check in via keypad. Guests are provided a personal entry code for their stay one day before check in via the VBRO messages

* Relax in the hammock swings on the front porch and enjoy the evenings

* Stay dry with the covered onsite parking for two cars. The long driveway can accommodate up to 4 or 5 cars. Additional parking on property for an additional two cars.

* The large backyard is great for the kids to run around and burn off energy. Bring your sports gear and have fun.

* Exterior is well lit at night. The outdoor lights are on a schedule that will automatically turn them on and off.

* When booking, an accurate count of guest staying must be provided.

Rooms/Amenities

* Living room - Electric powered reclining sofa and loveseat with SB charging ports. Wall mounted LCD TV against beautiful wood pallet wall. Coffee table with elevated lid that can double as a workspace.

* Living room TV has Netflix streaming service. We do not offer cable. You are welcome to sign into your own streaming services while staying with us. Please make sure you sign out before leaving.

* Guest Room 1 has a King bed with USB & USB-C charging ports in the headboard. Wall mounted LCD TV. Private bath with shower/tub combo. Large closet with hangers, wall mounted full length mirror and dresser.

* Guest room 2 has a Queen bed with USB & USB-C charging ports the headboard. Full length mirror inside closet door and a dresser. Wall mounted LCD TV.

* Guest Room 3 has a twin and full bed with USB charging ports in the headboard. Wall mounted large LCD TV. Great place for the kids to hang out. Ceiling fan is enclosed within the light fixture.

* Secondary bathroom with tub/shower combo.

* Full Kitchen with breakfast nook, stocked with basic cooking utensils. Includes a Keurig coffee maker with complimentary K cups and sugar and a 12 cup coffee maker with filters and coffee. Appliances: electric stove/oven, microwave, toaster, hot water kettle, fridge, and dishwasher.

* Washer and Dryer with laundry soap and dryer sheets.

* Basement, detached garage and linen closet in guest bath, will not be accessible to guests.

* No pets allowed.
* No Smoking inside home (includes vaping, recreational drugs)
* No Parties (Strictly enforced)
* No street parking or parking in the grass in the front of the home

* If it is found you have smoked in the house or brought a pet you will be charged a fee or asked to leave.

* Home is not child proof and does not have equipment for infants and toddlers. Please ensure to bring any equipment you need.

* There are security cameras on the property for the safety of our guests and property. They are located facing the carport, the front yard, side yard and there is a door bell camera.

* Hammock Swings - are for relaxation and gentle swaying. Please no aggressive swinging, spinning or bouncing in them.


Local attractions

* Weddings - We are located within a 20 to 30 minute drive to many of the local wedding venues. Such as: The Wheeler House, The Greystone Estate, The Tate House and many others.

* Helicopter tours - Alpha Helicopter Tours leaves from the Cherokee county regional airport located about 18 minutes away. They offer sightseeing flights to Amicalola Falls, Atlanta Skyline and others.

* Enjoy some of the well-known Atlanta attractions, such as the Braves baseball, the Atlanta Falcons football and the Georgia United soccer sports teams. Along with the Georgia Aquarium, World of Coke, Olympic Park, Six Flags over GA, Georgia Underground, and many others. Atlanta is about an hour drive from the home.

North Georgia has a lot to offer for the family, such as hiking, tubing, waterfalls, sightseeing. Many North Georgia towns offer great family fun. All are within 1 to 3 hours from our Little House in Jasper.

* Jasper, GA and the surrounding towns have many local attractions such as Gibbs Gardens, local wineries, the Etowah River Park and hiking trails, the Marietta National Cemetery, Reformation Brewery, Amicalola Falls, Gold Mine tours and many others.

* Helen GA - 1.5 hours drive - Helen makes a great day trip. Designed as a Bavarian town and is nestled in the North Georgia mountains. Helen has many family activities, including tubing in the Chattahoochee river, hiking the mountains, wine tasting in local wineries, and visiting the local waterfalls, such as Anna Ruby Falls in the Unicoi state park.

* Blairsville – 1.5 hour drive- a local attraction in Blairsville is Brasstown Bald. Known as the highest peak in Georgia at 4,784 feet. A $5 admission fee, per person and a short ride by shuttle, will take you to the top of the mountain. At the observation deck, you will be rewarded with spectacular views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Blairsville, also has some local waterfalls, wineries and state parks for a fun filled day.

* Blue Ridge – 1 hour drive - family activities include the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway train, whitewater rafting in the Ocoee river, hiking in the national parks, or just drive around the mountain roads. You will not be disappointed.

* Chattanooga TN – is 1.5 hours away and has many attractions such as Ruby Falls, Rock City, Look Out Mountain where you can visit a civil war battle field. Lookout Mountain provides spectacular views of the surrounding states. Accessing Lookout Mountain can be a car ride to the top or the "Incline Railway". The Incline Railway is not for the faint of heart.

* Want to enjoy the water. Nearby lake communities are Lake Allatoona is a 30 minute drive and Lake Lanier is 1.5 hour drive. Lake Lanier has a waterpark with many attractions for year-round fun.

* Love the fall colors? Our Little House in Jasper is a great place to start your journey for a day long ride through the North Georgia Mountains. Starting in late October through early November the North Georgia mountains begin to show the beautiful fall colors. Our peak season is usually the first to second week of November but can vary.

* JeepFest - Jasper has an annual Jeep Festival. The festival is held on Labor day weekend. Jeeps registered can access jeep trails and obstacles.
