Very clean, spacious, beautiful historic property! We really enjoyed our stay. It was quieter than expected for being in the city, and the porch was lovely! A couple of things that would make the experience even better are a few more dishwasher pods (like one per day), an extra trash bag, and an updated nonstick frying pan. Thank you for sharing this amazing property!

We enjoyed this property. The beds were comfortable and the shower in the primary is quite large. It was nice having the extra half bath. The kitchen is well equipped and we had coffee out on the porch. We were able to walk to a couple of nice places for coffee in the mornings. Would stay here again.

Very comfortable unit for our stay with two teenagers. Enjoyed neighborhood spots (Holey Bagels and Daniela's Downtown) in the morning and coffee on the porch. Convenient parking space as well!

Perfect stay!! The condo actually looked better than the pictures. Very spacious and charming. Location was great - a 5-10 minutes drive to most places in Charleston. A few restaurants were walkable. Host was very helpful and quick to reply. I would absolutely stay here again!

Kitchen fully equipped. Tight alley to get to parking but it was fine. Slight musty smell to the property but not an issue. Lovely layout. Loved the front porch for coffee in the AM, cocktails in the PM. Good, safe location. Roomy front room and kitchen. Comfortable beds and nice showers. We will rent here again when back in Charleston!

Disliked: Listing accuracy
Shower door came off track. Refrigerator leaked when it was on defrost mode.. not enough silverware porch furniture falling apart ripped curtains in one of the bedrooms. Very disappointed, place needs a lot of work. Looks like it’s been very neglected! Location was fine, very busy road In Front of property. Parking was a challenge getting in and out.. not recommended!

The house was charming and quite large. Bedrooms and baths were also roomy and comfortable and everything was very clean. The location was a little far (walking) from the main shopping and dining areas and there is quite a lot of traffic noise from Rutledge Ave. A few little things were missing such as Kleenex, regular sized spoons and enough sugar for the coffee. It would also be nice to provide either ground coffee or a machine that uses the pods, like Keurig since there are no convenient stores nearby to pick up such things. Also, there are way too many fake plants in the house and on the patio which takes away from the charm. Overall a very good stay.

We enjoyed staying at Rutledge Avenue Inn during our trip to Charleston. The off street parking was convenient. Our host was an excellent communicator and got us a new coffee pot in less than hour when the one in the unit did not work. The property was charming and most sites were within walking distance. We would stay here again if we return to Charleston. Thank you!
