The island is only accessible by boat. Take a quick water taxi ride to paradise or bring your own boat to the included dock slip! Leave your car and your cares on the mainland!

The Space:
Please note that Little Gasparilla Island is a barrier island accessible only by boat; we provide water taxi information when you book. You cannot drive your vehicle to the island; you park at the marina on the mainland where you catch the water taxi. There are no stores, bars or restaurants on Little Gasparilla which means it has retained much of its "old Florida" ambiance and pristine beauty. For years Little Gasparilla was visited only by locals who would come on weekends to fish, go to the beach and enjoy the privacy, peace and quiet. Now, even though it has been discovered, the lack of commercial establishments means that the island appeals to those who want to get away from crowds, tourists, traffic and technology.

This large family-friendly beachfront home has three bedrooms and two baths which offers plenty of room to spread out with friends and family. The owner is sharing this very special home with island guests who are looking for the perfect beach vacation spot.

Pura Vida will offer wireless internet service to stream TV. The kitchen is well equipped for everything from a holiday feast to the most casual beach meal. The home’s crisp blue and white color scheme echoes the colors of the blue sky and waves right outside the front door. The home is stocked with everything you need for a carefree beach vacation. A spacious open-concept living-dining-kitchen area offers a perfect opportunity for family gatherings. The screened porch provides fabulous views of Little Gasparilla’s beach and offers alfresco dining while enjoying the sound of the waves.

There are two bedrooms upstairs, one with two twins. That bedroom has a tiny adjacent room with two additional twins….it is small but would work for children. The other is the master with soaring high ceilings, bright clerestory windows, a king bed, a private balcony overlooking the Gulf and an ensuite bathroom.

The home offers stunning beach views from the living area, the front deck and the private upstairs deck off the master bedroom. This is a spectacular beachfront home and a rare opportunity to enjoy Little Gasparilla in one of the island’s loveliest homes.

Boat Slip - included on dock number 44 (this is also where the water taxi will drop you off) - Max boat length 24 ft

Complimentary Concierge- will meet you on the dock with a golf cart to assist with transporting your luggage and groceries to the home

Parking - $8/night ($10/night if you have a boat trailer) at Eldred's Marina where you meet the boat taxi

Holiday surcharges: applied for reservations for Independence Day, Memorial Day, Thanksgiving, Labor Day, and Christmas/New Years timeframes. PLEASE NOTE THAT MINIMUM NIGHTLY STAYS MAY BE INCREASED FOR THESE DATES AS WELL.

The Neighborhood:
LGI is only accessible by boat. There are no stores or restaurants on the island. Enjoy the island's lovely nature and uncrowded beaches.

Getting Around:
You must park your car at the mainland marina ($8 per day). There is a water taxi available, call for schedule and rates. Your rental also includes a complimentary dock slip if you would like to bring a boat. There are many local boat rental options. Their contact info is included in our FAQ upon booking.

Other Things to Note:
Please evaluate your expectations before booking a stay on Little Gasparilla Island. Little Gasparilla is old Florida at its best but it is a barrier island with no bridge. During periods of heavy rain or tropical storms, there may be standing water on the roadways, at the dock and around the house limiting golf cart travel. This is a tropical environment with mosquitos, rust, power outages and other minor inconveniences. There are no stores, bars, or shops. Come unplug and enjoy nature at its best on our tropical paradise.
