Great location in the heart of Breck

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We spent a weekend in the fall in this home with another family. The home was perfect for 2 families and perfect for our teenage kids, as they were able to easily walk down to Main Street and enjoy some freedom.

The house was nice. There is limited parking at the house and overnight parking in Breckenridge is expensive and difficult to find. There are also a lot of stairs inside and outside of the house. Other than that, the location was perfect and the house was very clean.

Lots of space for everyone to spread out - with ability to have together time as well as alone time, which is great when on vacation. Loved being able to turn on the fireplace with the flick of a switch. The location allowed perfect access to Main St and easy walk to the gondola. That said, the property is just one block from Main St, so you do get early morning noise of shops/restaurants preparing for the day. The deck was very spacious! Beds were comfortable and there were plenty of towels for all.

Overall the property was good. The location was excellent, shopping and food were all within walking distance and easily accessible. The views of the ski runs was wonderful. The bedrooms were large, comfortably appointed and each had nice views. There were, however, a few small things that needed attention: 1. The dish towel left at the side of the sink was not clean and covered in old food. 2. The ice and water features in the refrigerator did not work. 3. The neighbors next door had piled trash on their stoop and the pile grew larger daily throughout our stay. But, the biggest problem was the main access to the condo being through the garage and up 24 extremely steep steps to get to the living area. Then, a second flight of 18 steep steps to get to the bedrooms. Although these stairs were shown in a single picture from the site, it didn’t show the angle. For 3 women ages 66, 68 and 70, the steps were formidable. We did find the alternative access through the alley and into the back door. We used this fully accessible entry for the remainder of our stay and were very grateful to have found it. Having no warning in the site pictures or from the host gave us a very unpleasant start to our stay after having to carry multiple suitcases up the stairs at our original entry. All of this said, the condo itself was lovely with its Victorian style, the weather was beautiful and we were pleased with snow for a couple of days. For heat weary flatlanders it was an absolute respite.

The home was very nice and have 4 bathrooms was great. The house was very clean. Location is very good. Parking was difficult when all three tenants are present. Many stairs to get to main level. Master Bedroom mattress needs replacing - sink areas on both sides. TV in Master could not be turned on - no button on tv (looked like it was broken on bottom)
