This property was amazing. Super clean, fully stocked kitchen with top tier appliances. My son loved the dock with kayaks. We were able to catch a handful of speckled trout within 1/2 mile. Communication was great with the owners.
We were very happy with our stay. Location was excellent. Property was beautiful. House was well furnished and very well decorated! Everything we needed for a very enjoyable stay!

We're so glad you and your family enjoyed your post-Orlando crowds time in our peaceful, nature-filled corner of the world! Thanks for staying at NCE Breezy!
This place was absolutely wonderful. Very clean up-to-date and really makes you feel like you’re at a very nice resort house. Kitchen was fully stocked. We went scalloping every day. It was a great location. The boat dock was so convenient with a boat ramp right across from the boat dock in the neighborhood.
We wanted a little mental break from life and this little cottage was perfect! It was clean, quiet, close enough to everything yet far enough away. They even had a fire pit ready for us! We loved it!
Property was as described and in excellent condition. It made a great home base for our fishing and manatee snorkeling trips. The support from the owners and communications were excellent. If we come back to the area we will definitely stay here agian.
Stayed with my family for 3 days. Very quiet and relaxing, love that there is a quiet time too! The updates are so cute and go so well together. The owners are very welcoming and extremely nice. Definitely would stay again thank you so very much!

Thanks, Jenna, for your kind review. We look forward to hosting you and your family again!
Great property! Nice and quiet. Accurately pictured. Better in person. Good location when staying to kayak with manatees or go to the beach. Shampoo, conditoner, and body wash provided. Kitchen fully stocked and had a ninja coffe maker. Easy communication with the owners. Even left chocolates as a welcome gift. Would recommend and stay again.
Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Crystal River and this property was a huge reason why. It had everything that you would need and was very comfortable. It had too many updates to list and they were all nicely done. The home was very clean and a great size for our family. The views and water access were excellent too. We did a lot of activities in Crystal River but also went to Homosassa, Devil's Den, Rainbow River and Manatee Springs State Park. We found the property to be a perfect place for us to base ourselves as we explored the area. We also enjoyed stopping into Shrimps Landing which is close and looking for Manatees. It really is an amazing property and area.
This is a place to stay for a few nights outside of Crystal River. Only 10 minutes from the downtown and less than that from the small Fort Island beach. Positives of the house was very clean and nice furnishings. Really cool little screened in area in the back with tons of cds for music. Kitchen was well equipped. Master bed was a little stiff for us. Oddly it was missing basic things like shampoo, dishwasher soap and extra toilet paper which could have just been error on the housekeeping part.
You can bring your boat which is great but I would caution if you are relatively new at trailering a boat because the neighborhood ramp is very narrow and difficult. Alternatively you can launch at a public ramp nearby. I would also caution if you have a bowrider like us because we nearly got grounded multiple times as the water is as shallow as 1.5 ft in areas on your way over to the springs and even on your way to open water.
Overall I would recommend especially if you have a flats boat to enjoy the area or without a boat.

We're glad you enjoyed your stay and the collection of CDs. Regarding the missing items you mentioned, please accept our apologies if the items were not there. We wish you would've reached out while you were at the house, so we could have remedied the situation. As with most hosts, we only supply a limited number of rolls of toilet paper (2), as well as dishwasher tabs, which were in one of the kitchen drawers. We do not supply shampoo. We hope to host you again for your next visit to the area.
Beautifully remodeled home with great access to the scallop grounds
I would prefer to leave a 5 star but there are a couple issues that are easily fixed.
First, I'll start with the pros. Amazing house in a very cool location. Just down the road from The Plantation. Newly remodeled with an amazing downstairs area. Communication with the owners was easy and frequent. This house has everything* you need for a quick getaway or a long-term stay. There are way too many pros to list and yes, I would rent again.
Here are the cons:
Already mentioned in an earlier review, it was missing a basic essential that are typically provided in units like this. We had a half roll of toilet paper left and that’s it. Clearly not enough for a two-night stay. It wouldn't have been an issue if we had known beforehand, so I could’ve planned.
The number of rules is plenty. I get it, this is an investment, and the owners would like to keep it in the best possible condition but there was literally a book of rules. Kind of made me feel like I was back in elementary school.
Once you pull down the street to the house which is a dead end, there is nowhere to turn around. And if you read their rules sent in the message after you book, don't drive on any grass. Even though they have a wonderful area to back up in, this area has a gate and a lock. My suggestion is that they unlock the gate to allow trailer parking or at least an area to back up and turn around.
The boat ramp location is not for the beginner. If you can back up a trailer a long distance you should be fine. I wish in the book of rules there were direction or tips on how to get to open water. We headed to the scallop grounds at low tide. There are areas that are 1.5’ deep so idle all the way out. 2 hours on either side of low tide makes for a nice ride in and out. Quick and easy to the grounds.
Lastly, I think the AC is being controlled from another location. On one of the pages in the house rules outlines the temperature to keep it at. It also explains how to use the thermostat. We did change the temp using these instructions, but it magically changed. So, either it's set to change at varies time intervals or it is being controlled elsewhere.
Again, I would still rent here again. I just hope that a couple things can be addressed by the owners to make me feel like I am more important and not just an inconvenience to them and the neighbors.
