Everything we hoped for!

Very Nice beach property with upgrades. Great quiet location for hanging out, walking the beach, and as a hub for doing a fishing charter at Mesquito Lagoon, and day tripping to Daytona, and Kennedy Space Center. Also watched a Space X launch from the back patio! Location was also easy to park, and move in and out.

Best Stay in New Symrna Ever!

My husband and two children stayed in your unit the first full week in October. I am a 41 year-old and have been coming to New Smyrna with my family since I was twelve. By far this was the best unit I have ever stayed in! The unit was very tastefully decorated and had more amenities than we were used to. And ladies, you even get to eat on Sally Russell plates!! OMG! Thanks for our best family vacation ever!

Convenient walk out to beach

Beautiful unit with a stocked kitchen with everything you need, just get some groceries. Made full meals for my family. While all other units have a balcony ours was a patio we could walk out to the lawn and from the door to sand is 80 steps - I counted! Convenient dock with showers, nice big pool area, also very close to the unit. Only thing that could improve is the king mattress. It wasn’t awful, but a little worn and hard. Kids room had very comfy beds. It’s a great spot! Very happy with our vacation there.

Condo is Perfect!

The condo is beautiful just as pictured! It had everything we needed. ❤️ The management co. Great Oceans Condos👎. I would recommend the owners change companies. Our stay was not as enjoyable because of the lack of response and care. The cleaning crew knocked on my door 10 min early and its already an early check out at 10am. I wouldn’t stay again just because of the mgmt co.

Last minute vacation!!

My husband and I got the opportunity to visit with our son, daughter-in-law and grandson (Age 2) last minute. We rented this unit because of the location and it was perfect! Ground floor unit with direct access to the pool and beach! The pictures are very accurate. We enjoyed the indoors and outdoors. They had all the amenities they describe in the listing with the exception of beach chairs. There were two there, but one was completely rusted and broken and the other had rust on it as well, but we just covered it with a towel and used it. We had flown down, so were not able to bring our usual beach equipment, but it worked out fine, as our son brought a couple of his beach chairs (they live in Deltona), so we all just swapped out playing in the ocean and sitting. It was a perfect weekend in a GREAT condo. Will stay here again!

Disappointed

The first red flag should have been the lack of current reviews on this property. Pros: location was great, steps to the pool and steps to the beach. The management group was quick to respond to a few of our concerns. Cons: major dissatisfaction was the odor, imagine moth balls and grandparents basement. There were warnings about getting charged a fine if windows or doors were left open, so there was no way to remove the smell. We had to rewash clothes twice when we got home to get the odor out. We left for home early because we just couldn’t stay inside any longer. Cleanliness: this was our first travel during covid, so we hoped for extra cleanliness (we paid for the cleanliness) however one of the beds clearly hadn’t had the sheets washed so we washed all the beds’ sheets our first night. My coffee cup in the morning had a hair inside so then we rewashed all the dishes as well. The kitchens was provided with a USED sponge for cleaning. The dishwasher was provided with a single wash detergent pod. The small trash can had only one trash bag. There was no laundry detergent provided (yet we were responsible for washing all our towels before departing). There were a total of 2 rolls of TP. We rented this condo for 7 days and had to buy a sponge, laundry detergent, dish detergent, trash bags and TP. The main TV volume was never able to be turned on. The patio chairs were cheap, faded, cracked/broken, and mismatched and should have been thrown away 2 years ago (you can buy the same cheap quality and replace all of them for under $100, but they were left and it made the place just look dumpy) Multiple light bulbs were burned out. The ceilings are low which are hard to tell from the photos (I’m 6-0 and can touch them without jumping) so you have to be very careful with the ceiling fans in the bedroom when changing. We left early, didn’t enjoy the condo, but did like the beach. We won’t be going back, and hopefully our review will save you from a similar future disappointment.

The view is beautiful. Worked great for our small children, as it walked right out to the lawn and they were able to play and we could see them at all times. It is right next to the pool which was great as well. The patio is in bad shape. Wood boards are covering the concrete, and it is rotting and not secured down. Patio furniture is just plastic chairs. Not sure if the lack of outdoor lighting is only due to the time of year we went. It was turtle nesting season, so outside lighting is prohibited-- which is fine, however, it is not safe to have kids in pool in the evening, because you cannot see them at all in the pool area. The bugs were awful outside as well, again maybe seasonal, but the "No see'ums" will eat you alive. Seem to get worse later in the day. The units decorations are adorable, the couch is amazing. The master bed was not awful. However, the one double bed mattress needs to be replaced, the center of the bed is severely worn and pulls you into the "hole". The location is pretty far from activity, you cant really walk anywhere. Positive note on location --- It is was nice that you could easily get a spot on the beach without staking your claim at daybreak. Kitchen did have all the bare necessities, not well appointed. Worked for us, as we only ate breakfast and lunch in. Overall, we had a great vacation here, our kids were happy and had a blast !

Amazing relaxing getaway!

Loved our stay here! We took a spur of the moment girls trip to the beach and were so impressed with this property. The ocean-front access is no joke, beautiful view and literally a 30 second boardwalk to the beach. The whole place felt updated, clean, and comfortable. When we were tired of the beach, the pool was right next to our condo (which came with all the pool necessities!). Would highly recommend this place for a friends trip or family vacation. Great atmosphere, we will definitely be back!

Best Vacation Ever

Wow, the owners take EXCELLENT care of this property. It could not be a cuter interior design with a great stove/fridge/sink etc. Sometimes these types of condos are so cheesy in their decorations, but this is the perfect mix of beach feel with class. Enough room to sleep five comfortably with the one big bed, two full, and the couch! The most unbelievable part is the beautiful ocean view. I wouldn't want to stay anywhere that wasn't a walk-out to the ocean. And right next to the pool as well! I can't say enough good things, we will be back ASAP.

This condo was well furnished and a great location, however, we did have several issues that the property management company didn't address. We told them the exterminator needed to be called, a ceiling fan fixed and the dishwasher fixed, and none of these issues were addressed during our stay. The property was lacking with a lot of dishes and kitchenware too. It was a great location and our family of six enjoyed our stay.

Relax and unwind

I have stayed at this location twice and just love it , love that it's bottom floor and on a corner! Great view of pool from kitchen and nice view from patio,, nothing like hearing the ocean! Great restaurants all around my favorites "The Garlic" and being from Boston... Boston's fish house, shopping dinning or just relaxing this is it!!! And the condo is Clean and up to date, a beach lovers dream!!!!! Can not wait to go back!

Great Location and Fishing!!!

My family and I stayed here in August.We had a great vacation here.This unit was perfect for us ,on the first floor and right next to the pool.Just walk right out of the front or back door and your right there at the pool or walkway to the beach.Easy to carry your beach goodies,like chairs,fishng poles coolers etc.. The surf fishing was great! This unit had everything we needed ,from beach towels to a blender.Pretty much everything to cook and serve great meals or try one the local restaurants just minutes away.We also like the idea of this place being about 15 to 20 minute drive to Daytona speedway,Daytona Dog Track and Poker Room,also the shopping malls. We are definitely coming back again! See you soon

Wonderful vacation!

Our week stay at the beach was great. The Condo was just as we expected, well supplied and very clean. The pool was nice and had a lot of loungers for us sun lovers. We love all the fresh seafood restaurants that are close by. We are looking forward to returning next year.

Condo was nice and clean. Great location and good pool. Kitchen was a little low on dishes requiring us to constantly run the dish washer. There were lots of towels and beach towels. There were no beach toys or chairs or umbrellas so plan on bringing or buying your own. The keyed gate to the beach which became effective midweek of our stay posed some problems the first day since we had no keys but it was resolved by end of day. All in all a nice place to stay.
