Welcome to Pineapple Place II! Our 2 bed 1 bath condo in wonderful Kona sleeps up to 6! It's our little slice of real estate in the world, & while we can't stay there all the time, we're happy that we can share it with others. Our guests have really enjoyed our place, we hope you do too!
After last years success of giving back to Maui, in an effort to give back to the community we are happy to announce we will be donating a portion of your stay to local Kona Charities!

The space
Key Residence Features:
- Our space is small (about 600 sq ft) but has everything you need for a great Hawaiian Vacation! Amenities include a community OCEAN FRONT POOL and BBQ area!!!, plus a fully equipped kitchen, wifi, flat-screen smart TV, private Lanai, NO STAIRS, assorted beach gear, board games and puzzles, 1 assigned parking space!
- Unbeatable Kailua-Kona Location - Steps from Ali'i Drive, one mile to downtown kona, a short walk from the ocean, less than 6 miles from Kahaluu State Park, and minutes from several exciting excursions!
The Big Island is home to unique landscapes and gorgeous wildlife so get exploring. We highly recommend Volcano National Park , Manta Ray diving (a must), Mauna Kea observatory, and Waipo Valley! If you have any questions please ask us especially if you like happy hour!
Bedroom 1: Queen Bed | Bedroom 2: Queen Bed | Living Room: Queen Sofa Bed
If you are booking through this listing, you will have access to the whole apartment! Both bedrooms equipped with Queens beds, living room with Queen sized sofa bed (please ask for set up) and additional sleeping mat in the bedroom closet and a full kitchen. Additionally the condo now has a pack and play for your little one to sleep the entire night through in (we hope :)
The condo is equipped with Air Conditioning in the main room and ceiling fans in each room. However, as anyone on the island will readily tell you, AC is crazy expensive here! To keep rates down, we ask that during your stay you turn the air off each time you leave the condo, and leave the temperature no lower than 72 while you are there. In our experience there, this keeps the place plenty cool.
We have enacting some environmentally friendly policies (this is Hawaii and we do not want to be wasteful in our resource usage) that were recommended by our cleaner who is an awesome local lady. The primary one being that she sets up the condo based on the number of people listed when the reservation is made. So please be accurate because if you are not then you might have a few less towels than you need.

- House rules are provided and any fines due to violations of these a rules are the responsibility of the guest.
Absolutely NO SMOKING or VAPING. If we find evidence you disregarded this rule you will be fined your entire security deposit. Finally do not put grease, coffee grinds or other large objects in the disposal. This will clog the drain and you will be charged if we have to call a plumber. (This has happened)
Also this is a tropical island and thus there are occasional bugs. Being a ground floor unit you may see one from time to time especially is you leave the doors to the lanai open. Thus we ask you to keep the doors closed. The association is aggressive in spraying (next one is July 30) and we have an on call bug guy for emergencies. (an emergency is not 1 or 2 ants or roaches btw, again think of the environment on this one).
