This is our 3rd year staying in these cabins and we are always happy with our stay. Always clean and welcoming. We will be back again next year. Thanks again
Our stay in Robbinsville was even better than we expected. The cabin was absolutely beautiful, very clean, and perfectly secluded, which is exactly what we were looking for. It was definitely tucked away and a bit of a drive from most things, but for us that was part of the charm. The peace and quiet out there made it easy to truly relax and enjoy the mountains. One of the main reasons we chose this location was because it was relatively close to the Tail of the Dragon, and it worked out perfectly for that. After long days out driving and exploring the area, it was great coming back to such a cozy and private cabin. The host was extremely friendly and easy to communicate with throughout the stay. We especially appreciated them checking in on us during the brief power outage to make sure everything was okay. That level of hospitality really stood out and made us feel taken care of. Overall, this place exceeded our expectations and we would absolutely stay here again. If you’re looking for a quiet mountain getaway and don’t mind being away from town, this cabin is hard to beat.

We stayed at the cabin over Memorial Day weekend 2026 for easy access to the Dragon and Skyway. We stayed near Pigeon Forge last year but this was nicely secluded and closer to the roads we wanted to drive. The cabin was extremely clean and perfect for our stay. Beds were comfortable with nice sheets. AC (mini splits) had instructions and were easy to use. Kitchen was a nice size and had everything we needed for a variety of meals (cookware/utensils/spices). Covered porch with rockers was fantastic for relaxing and listening to the rain. Plenty of parking space. Gas grill was easy to use and Debbie left a spare propane tank which came in super handy when we ran out. She also had lots of maps and "what to do in North Carolina" guides. I asked a few questions during our stay via VRBO and she replied almost immediately. Cell service is non-existent but the wifi was more than sufficient to handle TV shows, internet searches, and wifi calling. Overall, we were very happy with our choice and would definitely stay there again.
Great house. Very close to deals gap. Steeep driveway. Although easily accessible on a motorcycle and small trailer. Overall it turned out the best vacation we’ve ever had.
The pictures don't do it justice. We came up for a short trip for the 4th of July weekend and we all really enjoyed the home. It's one of the cleanest we have rented it. We loved sitting on the huge porch and watching the lightning bugs come out at night. We would recommend this place to family & friends.
The cabin was the perfect getaway for my little family. It was quiet with a view. And a short drive to the city for whatever you need. Would book again.
Great place to stay. My only issue was taking the trash to the street when checking out. We did put the trash outside in the trash can. But being on motorcycles we weren’t able to take the trash down the steep hill to the road.
This place is relaxing and beautiful, the owner Debbie was great, she recently upgraded the WiFi which I saw a lot of people mention on previous comments but we had no issues and it was super fast. My friends and I went there to ride our motorcycles on the tail of the dragon and other surrounding beautiful roads. I definitely recommend staying at this location for whatever your vacation plans are .

Glad to have a happy customer and a pleasant one at that. Thank you for your review. Appreciate your business. Hope you can come back for those colors.
Great property...just as described. Owner was responsive. We had a very relaxing and peaceful stay with a beautiful view and would definitely stay again.
Semi-remote cabin with pretty much everything you need. Only wish we had easy local access to firewood for the fireplace and firepit. Convenient to great hiking areas and fantastic roads for sports car drivers. Would stay there again.

Thank you for the review. We appreciate your business. My husband use to cut wood for the cabins but he’s not able anymore.
We spent a wonderful, very busy week here enjoying everything the region has to offer. We rode horses, got to some Zip Lines, hit the white water on the Ocoee, spent a day on a pontoon on Fontana, and spent quiet time in the park. The cabin is fantastic! It is well equipped and super clean. The decorations were right on point! We will be repeat offenders, it's just a question of when...Oh yeah, the host is SUPER in all aspects!

Thank you, thank you for such a wonderful review. With a review like yours, it makes the job worthwhile. Glad enjoyed all the amenities this County has. I appreciate your visit. Look forward to having you back. Thanks again, Debbie
Cabin was very pretty and there was every thing we needed furnished. The driveway was a little intimidating but once you go up and down one time it was no problem. Very quiet and relaxing and the view was beautiful.

I have fond memories growing up in Maine where we had a camp on a lake. We had a lot of family holidays at that camp. And, then my family moved to Florida. My girlfriend's family had a cabin in Highlands, NC, so when my husband (Roy) and I needed a vacation, that's where we rented, and after that we were both hooked on North Carolina. After going a few more times, we started looking for our own cabin. My husband was in the construction business and can fix just about anything. I went to Florida State University and majored in Housing & Interior Design, so we make a good team when it comes to providing a well-maintained and decorated cabin.
Why they chose this property
We bought our second cabin that was originally called 'The Chalet' from an auction ad that my husband saw in our local newspaper. After purchasing it, we have vacationed there for over 18 years to get out of the Florida heat. Now we are retired and live here during the season. We loved the beautiful weather and mountain views so much that when the Mountain Retreat became available we decided to purchase it for additional family gatherings. And, then a few years later, the Ridge Haven became available. Everybody we knew or worked with wanted to rent the cabins, so that's how we got started. We love this County with it's country roads and laid back feeling. It is so peaceful and quiet here. Maybe an owl at night, sighting of hummingbirds and several type of birds that sing during the day. It's a great place to live or visit.
What makes this property unique
Our private road and the hiking trail is a great place to walk our dogs, oh and the cats, too. The weather is just like being in air-conditioning in the summer and it's so brisk in the Spring and Fall. The foliage is beautiful any time of the year, even after the leaves have fallen. And, the locals are so friendly, always waving as they pass by. There are so many nearby outdoor activities, weekly social benefits, arts and craft events, mountain music & heritage festivals and three pristine lakes (Fontana, Santeetlah & Cheoah) for all types of water adventures and fishing. The cabin is a great place to come back to after a fun day riding the roads or hiking the trails; or just hang out here all day and do nothing.
